Age of the Ring: Realms in Exile

Mod review

The submod is great, the quality is pretty high considering this is a one man effort (I know the models and some other things are designed by other people, but still).

Kingdom of Arnor

Mod review

Arnor right now feels pretty good. I feel that the pikemen should be a bit cheaper, or atleast availible at level 1 barracks, lindons feel a tad unbalanced for their price, as they seem to nuke anything, but it's not severe. I don't really see the point of having seperate upgrades for dunedain and elven units apart from perhaps the banners, as the armour and blades are used only for the lancers.
The texture for the pikemen also look more like gondorians, though it's nothing big.
As far as the powers go, I feel there should be one men tier 4 (earthquake since aotd doesen't really make sense) but again, not a big issue.
The heroes are pretty damn good: Carthean is pretty solid, his rapid fire ability is really good and the other ones are alright.
Argeleb is amazing, mainly his summon and the experience he
gives, since it's worth 4 levels for infantry. Also he's quite the tank. Arvedui feels a bit stale, since his only different abilty is the fear resistance at level 7, so it'd be nice if he could get a mount or some sort of last stand ability, though I know next to nothing about modding, so it might be difficult.
Arveleg next to last ability is really good.
All the heroes feel good for the money except for arvedui, he seems to be more at argelebs price point. Not sure if it is just me, but athelas feels really good for all three of them, since they can keep each other alive for a long time.
Overall tis a great mod. Good job.

Wars of the North

Early access mod review

It's pretty nice. Arnor is very polished thanks to the presets, Rohan might need more work though, it's rough around the edges right now. But easy to install and pretty good.:)

Battle for Middle-earth II: Rise of the Witch King

Game review

It is a grand RTS, which I've played since 2008. Mechanics are funky, mainly when you're trying to pull back your units. It is very enjoyable, whether or not you've read any of Tolkiens work.
