Thank You Luca, to me this is a ideal platform. In Crysis 1 and Cryengine 2 Editor I can enhance Graphics and also bring new Objects in. So i also think on what Objects, that are not there at the Moment can enhance the Mine Level. i wished to go back in Time, when they are at Production Stage on Crysis 1 and try to get a Job there in this Time Period.

The Challenge with Clouds is that they use lot of Overlay Textures. So there are multiple Cloud textures that move together. The Hardcut Edge can be soften.

Thanks Marek, Ofcourse Im testing here different textures. The Metal Stripe can have more Overlays of Scratches yes. Normal Map is missing on Metal Bottom too.

Thanks. The main issue i have is half of the new Textures cant be saved. The Saving Process in the Engine is very complicated so wthout this issue at least one Level would be finished.

Nice to hear from the Project, then you know what huge Work this is to make new Textures. The common Tools in famous Apps like Unsharp Masks are not working very well. I will test the Gigapixel App.

Ich teste hier erstmal ein paar Ideen und Texturen. Die Bump Map das kommt später auch noch. Aber für kleine Steine mache Ich extra 3d Objekte weil das eben nochmal ganz anders wirkt, wenn echte 3d Steine da sind.

And can I somehow make it happen to use more than 3gb ? Maybe there are special Tools or Tweaks ? 9gb would be great, then Im happy, but now I have Trouble and watch carefully as the memory goes up to 3gb and then the Problems occur....What Compiler you speak about here ?

The Materialeditor is very powerful, I have good Results with greyscale Height Maps on Bump Mapping on new created Objects. It seems they get a Surface by doing that. I tested on a Chair and had really a Wow Effect, when a Surface appear besides the Scratches from Specular Map. The Standard Objects in Crysis levels are mapped in a certain Way, so a Bump Map reacts differently.

Ofcourse I could add new Objects because Im also doing 3d Modeling, I want the Levels to be as Original as Possible. Im focus more on nature Objects, for Instance with lot of small Rocks the Beach could get more Realistic. The Underwater could be more realistic with more Objects. Objects like new created Dishes, which Im using in my other Maps I can add. So the Environment of the Houses not only have Hi Res Textures but also new Objects to throw. I definitive add more AI, not 100s but more at certain Points can be more exciting

But it depends also If I find out to save Materials on locked Materials in Levels. So while its no Problem to make a Mod with new created Objects, Textures will save without Problem. Its something different on Locked Materials on the Crysis levels. If there were no such Issue I would be finished. Its often so that I load the Crysis Levels and half of the Material is not saved. That has become more a Issue than to make the Textures.

For Instance I also make Music and Audio Plugins and App are 64 Bit, they go until the End, when hitting 12GB or Cpu is used its get freezed. I see in old Cryengine 2 Forums its about the Editor, lot of Threads I found on the RAM Subject. maybe its only some few Tweaks to make in the Editor.

Ok I tried the Patch but somehow nothing changed. When I get over 3000mb RAM (visible on Cryengine Stats) it get slowly and crashes often, while FPS is still on 70 or 80, so the CPU is not the Issue here. Somehow it has to do with the RAM. 12 GB is installed, When I get over 3GB it causes those strange Effects.

ah ok, I use the Editor from Disc Version and its both there the 32 Bit and 64 Bit Editor. The Crashes seems to be caused by Bugs.

but when I have a 64 Bit System and the Editor is in 64 Bit then there should be no Limitation. Most Crashes Cause are Cryphysics.dll when I make created Objects as Breakable Objects. CRyRender.dll when trying to change the Ocean, regular Crash. So You mean the NTcore 4GB Patch program, and this works ?

Yes but how to change this. So basicly mosten often i get Crashes when trying to changte Texture of very big Objects or Surfaces like Ocean Top and Underwater.

Now I have a GTX 770 which allow me to make Improvements, but I also face the Limitation, too much is too much and App is crashing :D

I dont know exactly which Graphic Card I had when playing first Time but it was too Much even with Low Settings. Yesterday I loaded up the Harbor Level. The Textures are very detailed with all of the Dust and Rust painted on the Textures. The Ground Asphalt I made with a 8K Asphalt Texture reduced to 4K which gives more Details than a 4K

The Configuration of Shader and Enhancements is different from the idea of creating Hi Quality Textures. Crysis Textures are good, but often at small Scale. With the powerful Material Editor its possible to use 4K Textures. Real improvements can be made and thats why I like this.
