Hey so I have a bit of a weird issue. So I can get the game to open just fine but as soon as I get into like the main menu screen all it says is the "Star Trek Armada 3 The Final Frontier" logo. But there are no options to like play a game or go into options or anything like that. I'm even able to rotate the camera around the ship but the buttons are not appearing for some reason. I already tried reinstalling it but the same thing happened.

I think certain things about Attila are better such as sieges but I like Warhammer far more in concept. The whole Hun invasion thing never really interested me. But I would agree Attila is probably a better choice for the mod.

I think they said it was the best selling add on game. Like better than Barbarian Invasion or Napoleon basically could be wrong about that though. Warhammer definitely broke the initial total war sales records though (like first week). Regardless I think the decision to stick to Attila is the right choice for now.

So I cant even get the game to open it crashes at the initial loading screen every time. What am I doing wrong? I enabled the LAA deal and put it in the 1.82 mods folder?

I figured out my problem finally :P and dang I forgot how challenging the GC is!! anyone have a good strategy for the republic? I get constantly hammered by the CIS and can fight off most of their normal fleets but at the cost of like all the garrisoned ships :P but there main fleet with the capital ships.... my god I always get wiped out by them lol then there ground force always overwhelms me! anyone have a good strategy for me to try out?

Heyy guys I need some help im trying to play the game through the steam version of EaW but I cant remember how to get the game to work. I got RaW to run but everytime I try to save the game in GC it crashes? did I put a file in the wrong place? please help!! id go to my old comp and look at how I set it up but I don't have it with me and I cant for the life of me figure out wut I did wrong

yeah dude they build a massive navy and attack u from all points of the galaxy u gotta try your best to creat choke points in the galzxie....when it says incoming attack i usually press pause figure out where their attacking and then send all my fleets in the nearby systems to that planet to help...usually works sometimes the enemy army is just to great tho :P

how can i upgrade my comp so my GC isnt all laggy???

idk bout that dude the CIS didnt attack me for a while

lol glactic conquest is the only place u can get it :P but its only buildable on the planet Mintooine :)

yeah Rep. is under and CIS is over :p the CIS GC is way easyer then the Rep ones :P hell i got the malev and after that its like i cant lose :P

ahh i love the republic but everytime i try their GC i just get totally slayed dude!!! but im having absolutly no problems with the CIS GC!! plz Z downgrade the CIS PLZ!! :P i mean i went against 2 provs, 2 lueckrins, and 3 carriers with 2 vents, 8 dread naught, 3 accs, and a bunch of light frigats and a lvl 3 space station and i could not repel them! thats just a bit ridiculos dude ;P i only killed 1 prov and 2 carriers!! :P plz down grade the CIS!

the whole normal FOC comming up once u clicked the shortcut happened to me too dude but u gotta go to the icons properties and make sure its targeted to the RaW mod folder.....mine says this under target("C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\swfoc.exe" MODPATH=Mods\Republic_at_War) and this under start in ("C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption") hope that helps :)

thanks u guys are the best!!! :) im glad u guys actually listin and not brush us off like some ppl would :) thats awsome im looking forword to the patch but for now im finally starting to get the hang of this game :P (as the CIS anyways :P)

iiiidk about the whole Acclemator takin down a Munificant thing dude the munificant ships make up the back bone of the CIS fleet so they are spose to be sorta good they should be able to take down almost all Rep ships except the Vent and such..............oh btw i havnt said anythin bout the ground battles yet.........LOVE THEM!!! dont change a thing i think they are amazingly fun!!!

all im sayin is u dont gotta down grade the Prov or anything cuz frankly i like all the fire power it has :) im jsut sayin according to the show 3 vents is more then enough to handle any sep fleet so the vents need a major over haul!! :)

and yes ive tried that tho but the problem is the prov can do the same thing lol and it has a lot more guns lol :p plus its support ships are way btr lol :P

can i ask how its more balanced in the PvP?? wouldnt it be the same cuz all the ships hardpoint stuff is the same isnt it??

and again love the mod but i think a venator should be able to beat a prov...or at least have it a close match depending on how you handle it cuz like i said in the show 3 vents slays all :P

In the cartoon they usually only use like 3 venators and thoes 3 can hold their own against a bunch of the sep fleet so i think the vent needs to be upgraded a lot dude cuz according to the show 3 pretty much is all you need and in the game u need like 20 lol :P idk bout the acclomator maby needs a little upgrade but i think that ship is suppose to kinda suck

u gotta pull all your fleets into a few key planets you want to keep then just keep adding units to the fleet and reflecting the attacks till you get ur tech up......as for the other plantes with no orbital fleet...all u can do is give them a decent ground army and try to hold out as long as you can :S thats what im doing

yeah the acclamators arent very good i usually buy the dreadnaughts instead dude....but im totally with u the prov is ovr powered its got a LOT of guns lol :P

well yea it can out shoot 1 venator but 4????? and with 4 support acclimators??? no sir lol the providence is not THAT good

has anyone used the Recrusant destroyer yet??? if so is it worth buying or should i just buy techno union frigates??

its on the outer rim on the right side....u have to play the bigger GC's not that small one

lol to the guy who lost to 1 provedence with 4 acclamators and 4 venators..............at that point i think u just suck dude lol cuz the provedence isnt that good lol i mean damn ur venators got that special beam to rape its shield in 2 seconds then the all fire button to take it down fast lol :P dude u rolaly f'ed that battle up lol :P

y is the game kinda laggy during the GC?? is it cuz my comp just sucks or should i turn something down to help??
