Well, there is a special item in RE2 that gives you 2 extra slots. I guess this can be used in the mod too, since it's using RE2 as a base anyway.
The fences look kind of out of place in this area, to be honest.
Better replace these fence props with something more Combine-looking.
Glad to see it's still alive and biting.
If you don't know, then just don't do anything. It's that simple.
If you don't know what the hell you want, then don't even try if you got no idea what you're doing.
Learn something new, like modelling or something that requires an actual effort.
Dude, It's time to stop.
It's not correct to compare it to Black Mesa.
As much as I understand it's an attempt at making a quality ports of Blue Shift and Opposing Force to Source Engine the same way as Half-Life: Source was done, but also fixing logical mistakes and issues the original Valve (and Gearbox) developers did with their design and level layout consistency as stated in the article.
Duh.. I probably misread it. Well, good to know HRP is going to stay as is. I loved the hard-*** difficulty of it (except for the unforgiving final boss).
If you're going to revamp HR : Parasomnia, you definitely should keep the older build available for the masochists out there who would like to play the old hard-*** version for whatever reason.
Still can't believe all this is being done on an ancient engine that RenderWare is.
Shows well, how you can push it to the limits and beyond.
Simply amazing. I love the new gameplay elements like the the new Xen flora and the crossbow fire-bolt charge. But Houndeye movement animations look weird. It must be a pain in the *** to animate them.. The new models look very nice though.
I agree, everyone got used to the old name during all the years it existed.
G-Strand in my opinion is not the best variant as it might be associated with Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding way too much. Not like it's a bad thing, but it will look weird.
I am all for keeping the old name, but it would be a good idea to add a sub-title or something.
A few cheesy and cliche examples:
G-String: The Phantom Menace (this one is not serious, of course)
You get the idea.
I like this one, it's not straying too far away from original name.
Are those pipes the displacements or generic cylinder brushes like in original?
It all depends on the file size of your spray, if it exceeds 512 kb limit, it won't show up ingame (in original ZM it was 113 kb, I belive).
Hearing some news is always better than dead silence. It's all good.
Am I the only one who thinks that stunstick looks like a lolipop?
Meikyû monogatari (1987)
Both films have impressive imagery.
So it's basically a reupload of the stuff from that "RuTracker" page where the original archived anthology was available?
Recreating original maps of Blue Shift and Opposing Force on Source from scratch, that's some titanic work. Very nice to see you giving some love to Half-Life: Source.
In case you didn't know, the "mods" you linked here are "created" by a mentally ill person known as Nikolay Aulov. That russian dude never made any actual mods. He only pretended to be a modder or a programmer by creating multiple mod pages filled with random nonsense for sake of quantity.
Basically it was just a spam. No wonder he got banned recently.
Nice AI improvements. But here is a real question! Will you recreate that famous cut feature with "random civilian choking on a donut"?
The curse of Beta themed mods strikes again.
Well, all we can do now is wait for "Insolence: Redux" or something else.
Anyway, thanks for giving to the community this messy and unfinished, but beautiful mod, guys.
From what I see here the models and sounds for zombies come mostly from No More Room in Hell and Left 4 Dead. I hope these are just placeholders and will be eventually replaced with brand new models and sounds, if you're still working on this mod of course.
Overall this mod looks very interesting, especially since this is a mod for Stalker, not many people make mods for Stalker NOT about the zone. heheh
The visuals feel like it's not Source anymore. Nice work.
So, huh? RE: Gun Survivor style?
Custom weapon animations finally. That's an improvement right there.
Good work, man. I am very impressed by what I see so far. But well, I think russian VAs from Doom 3 don't really fit the mod's theme, they kinda ruin the atmosphere. It would be neat to have a separate version with english VAs though.
This looks damn good.
Wait a sec, are you turning those two maps into a standalone mod? Nice.
