The greatest bottleneck for many modern PCs is that only your first core of your processor can be used to process the game. This includes much rendering code as well due to the game's age. A weak per-core processor will present significant issues with performance when using large graphical mods. User should also be sure that they are using Galaxy audio and not AL Audio during setup. It is known to have performance issues on most PCs."

It is called DeusEx.v10 and will list all localized values in the game. You may open it with any text editor like a .txt file would be edited. Conversations however do not support french as Confix is used and does not have a french version to Unit's knowledge.".

MessageLog[1]="D3D10 is curiously being rejected by many users at the moment due to issues with a recent wave of Nvidia drivers that are forcing massive performance drops. The Team was in fact directly messaged about this from a friend of speedrunners reporting this issue and they suggested we stop bundling d3d10 altogether. We kept it because more options are nice to have in edge cases. Funny how things have turned out in your case thereafter."

MessageLog[4]="For best FPS Unit highly recommends selecting a processor based on the strength of each thread and not the overall output in GHZ. The game can only process a single thread of processing at a time due to engine constraints. This is not unlike emulating PS2 games from what Unit has heard. Allegedly even most graphics are calculated on the CPU for Deus Ex and not the GPU."

MessageLog:"What render device did user choice? Dark brightness and lack of brightness slider functionality are often attributed to OpenGL. Borderless fullscreen requires Kenties which is known to have a number of compatibility issues with the 'v10' Community Update. It was not built to support complex structure mods and its inflexibility is why v9 and vRSD require you to override your vanilla localization file for instance. This is in addition to issues running on some systems and sometimes deleting users' saves. Unit does not have a known fix for inconsistent mouse but will ask around."

MessageLog:"D3D11 is experimental and has a number of issues reported with it. To edit the d3d10 configuration options you can type 'Preferences' into the console. Under 'Rendering' you may find the settings for D3D10 including VSync. VSync usually defaults to being on so that is strange. If enabling it does nothing it may be an issue with the rendering device itself as it is not up to the same scratch as the D3D9 rendering device."
