I'll be blunt here: I have no idea how to do it any other way. :P
It's within the folder you extract from the rar file.
It's designed as a stand-alone mod, meaning that it's a whole new installation with a few modified files.
It's a stand-alone mod. Basically, a clone of the default installation of BF1942 with a few modified files. Therefore, it won't appear in the custom games list; you need to find "bf1942.exe" within the folder that you extract from the rar file in order to run it.
True, but they also have very short range. Should I perhaps shorten their maximum range further?
Like I said: FULL INSTALLATION. That means that every file associated with the game is included. It also means that you don't have to modify your core game, making it very safe and completely reversible if you don't like it.
Why thank you! :D I felt like BF1942 kinda needed a crazy, over-the-top change to its gameplay. x)
Stay tuned; I might make a version for Desert Combat Extended as a totally-necessary sequel.
Yup. Compressed into a .rar archive and everything.
The mod should be available for download now. If not, it's still being processed, and will be available soon.
They're tank projectiles without the trails on them. The fact that they look like that is... interesting.
The music is "The Lordling" from Homestuck.
We'll see when the time comes. I may potentially skip the internal testing thing and just put it up for grabs, making changes as feedback comes in.
Development has been going faster than expected. If I can continue at this pace, it should be done within the next month or two at most (this includes internal multiplayer testing with my brother). Either way, look forward to a release sooner than originally expected. :)
I think that's an awesome idea, and I've actually been imagining something o the sort... from the images I saw in my head, it looks epic!
Maybe they should make an RTS out of all of their Battlefield series games...!

Hello! I'm an omnipotent voice from Insomniac--wait. Hello, friends! I'm Luke Nell--wait, no. Er. Ahem. Hello! I'm Brandon, but since I currently am but an arrangement of pixels to most people viewing this, feel free to call me by the ever-so-obvious nickname at the top of my profile. I like to work with older, more easily modifiable games, such as Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2142, and some of the earlier Command and Conquer games (up through Generals ZH). I specialize in stupidity and the unexpected, i.e. flying submarines and destroyers moving like jet skis. Basically, I make the mods you never knew you wanted.
