Why are you asking if i am serious? That is rude, of course i am. This mod has soldiers with armor pieces, which are apart by hundreds of years in history. Its not a harsh critique, i have not stated anything harsh or inapropriate, only the reality of what is in the mod.

Well, that is the point really. I expect historians to not approve such armor designs like in recent image 3 and image 5 with those plates apart with big gaps. Its also funny to see those slavic pagan shields alongside 15th century maille and plate armor shirts, while Rus became orthodox christian in like 9th century. That's logically impossible.

Its strange how mod is made by russians, but their unit models look like they are wearing equipment hundreds of years apart. Why maille and plate before 1400s? Why incorrect interpretation of kuyak from 19th century historians? There's just so much new content here, that is good, but its incorrectly arranged. Most of the articles i've read about russian armor are in russian, so its weird how the devs did not find those articles in their research. If you need, i can just post a bunch of them.

No. Base game has some little historical inaccuracies like gambesons, but we can presume that cloth armour existed in viking era and way before that.

Meanwhile this mod takes it to another level. Many things are taken out straight from fantasy like vikings the tv show or game of thrones. Armour is colorless - brown, grey, black. Strange, because black was quite expensive back then.

In short, this mod is a good way to ruin your viking conquest both aesthetically and historically
