No there wont be a general IG faction but a few personalised ones such as Catachans which might appear in the faction list as Astra Militarum: Catachans. Other IG factions im feeling are Steel Legion, mordian iron guard and Militarum Tempestus. It all depends on what the engine limitations are with new factions which im looking into.

Thanks for the heads up, ive looked over the legal details and as long as i dont make profits not even from donations, and make sure not to damage the brand, and i must not have any content not from w40k then im fine to use thier material under fan art. But im glad you brought it up i do need to make a disclaimer.

Also another good point about cover i do plan on adding cover using atribute modifiers to invisible objects around the map, these will give units a buff or debuff depending on the terrian and building will be able to give a 'Cover' buff to units that snap close. The catachans for instance will be able to move at full speed through dense jungle or forest but i require to experiment before i can say this is possible.
