Empires is an RTS/FPS mod that involves futuristic warfare.
PRO:
+With a lot of people, it's a hellzone (and that's a great thing to say).
+Different classes with advantages.
+Rank up and gain more advantages (passive or active)
+Vehicles are fun to shoot and drive.
+RTS (Commander) Mode is fun... (Continue to CONS)
CONS:
-At the same time though, RTS (Commander) is for people that know what they're doing.
-Weird Texture (I should of said bad, but it's Valve-Source...).
-Teamwork is a "need" here... but if none, you're going to have trouble.
-Vehicles can sometimes be a pain to drive.
-Laggy in some servers (Seriously)
-Might be confusing to first-time players to Empires.
Nightmare House 2 just got better.
PRO:
+Storyline that chains both NMH 1 and 2.
+Scares get better with the auto-scare system (like a L4D Director).
+Environment is dark and less sanity involved.
+2 Endings
CONS:
-Voice acting is good, but could of been better in some scenes.
-Ghost Girl has backwards voice. ("?tahw)
-Some scares are brought to you by F.E.A.R (and/or other scary games). Thank you Alma, for teaching this girl to stalk me from a glass window. (It's not all bad, but it will be something seen before).
-Head bobbing... it's weird. Period.
Get it if you're in love with scary games/mods or if you love F.E.A.R.
A game that was good, but out-shorted itself. If the ending wasn't bothersome, it would of done better.
Great mod with great expectations.
