Mod review

Great mod. Some of the best visuals with excellent texture quality and superb lighting and particle effects. Alpha squad is very challenging. Looking forward to version 0.5.

Mod review

This is the most fun overhaul of CoP and this mod is the reason that I am replaying the game. I will just list pros and cons, plus some suggestions.

Pros:
-Excellent AI scripting. Foes can come out at any time and anywhere which makes game progression unpredictable and fun.

-Terrific visuals - Very bright nights, stormy, sunny, rainy. Really sets the mood. I prefer very bright nights on all maps. Stormy and Rainy at Zaton and Jupiter to underline the desperation, and misery. Sunny in Pripyat it really sets contrast between bright and sunny day along with desolate city.

-Very good new weapons selection. The skins look very good. Reload animation is nice too.

-Tweaked artifacts, now they are more useful due to mostly beneficial properties.

Cons:
-Weapon sounds are somewhat underwhelming. Wish it were possible to extract sounds from Battlefield 3 or use real gun fire.

-Massive fog. Cannot see too far. I did not select and fog on the Atmosfear 3 interface but it still comes up. Wish it was not so thick and perhaps the fog could lie low above the ground.

-Music is not dramatic enough. I like the music from STALKER, Mad Max movies but it cannot be implemented due to copy right. Perhaps the music could be replaced altogether with ambient sounds such as howling winds, wood and metal sounds, distant gunfire and foot steps on muddy ground, water, asphalt.

-Lack of Geiger counter radiation detection sound. Please implement it

Suggestions:
-Add the ability to respawn Oasis.
-Open the Pripyat tunnel to go back and forth without the guide. After the original trip has been completed.
-Add AEK 971 and Pecheneg if possible.
-Add bandits, mercenaries and stalkers in Pripyat.
