No I played SM and couldn't find the icons in the Titan Assembly Bay.
No I played SM and couldn't find the icons in the Titan Assembly Bay.
Couldn't find the Imperator and Warlord Titan, and yeah the Legio Titanicus addon was enabled. Any luck?
Just wanted to say that I really appreciate the dedication Cylarne gives to this mod. Not only the creating this awesomeness, but also listening to dozens of whining people (including me) in order to imrove the overall quality and balance of the mod. Thanks man.
1. Install Soulstorm.
2. Install 1.1 and 1.2 patches of Soulstorm.

Remember to extract files into Soulstorm directory if they are not exe files.
I wish Cult Mechanicus and Skitarii races combined as Adeptus Mechanicus added to UA, maybe along with Imperial Knights titans. They are the only remaining main race that is not in the game now.
"Wouldn t be simpler to give them the vehicle armor class instead of the infantry?"
I suggested this before, and Lord_Cylarne said he might remove Lesser Daemons but nothing beyond those.
Since you are going to change the Necron economy completely in TBH, I think you should save your effort to balance the mod after TBH release instead of balancing it now.
We need TBH obviously. Another patch is unnecessary. Especially if TBH will overhaul the entire game.
Totally agree. We need more imbalances.
Owners said many times that they won't add any more new races. Besides mechanicus is 30k not 40k.
I think the main problem with Tau is that they don't have a weak spot. They have amazing range, good damage and moderately tough units. Nerfing their range would hurt their unique playing style, so I don't suggest that. But their damage and hitpoints can be reduced, so close combat oriented races would try to get near them while Tau would try to keep them at distance. It would also give more usage to Kroot, it feels like you don't really need them right now.
Dude, just try to ignore angsty kids. It is your mod in the end. You have the right to ignore all the hostile opinions about the mod. Those brats probably have no idea about how hard modelling and animating is. They are just sitting on the computer, waiting for stuff to consume without contributing anything. Riptide model might have problems, but just like Hierophant it will be fixed gradually. Thank you for your non-profit effort, and thank you for reviving Dawn of War.
This is a Warhammer 40k game. Seriously, I can't believe you guys. Let's just include Red Army aswell because this is not a lore book, its just a game.
We want the best of both worlds: Good gameplay and convincing Warhammer 40k feel. Sanguinius would feel out of place in the Space Marine faction, considering he is the Primarch of the Blood Angels while the Space Marines in the game are regular ones. I would suggest adding Centurions or other units introduced within the new codex instead of adding characters.
A tribute to the Dark Gods:
Not necessarily. Rhino can take 2 space marine squads although its size clearly has no room for all of them. Maybe making its size a tad bigger would be ok, and granting those flying transports the ability to carry tanks would make them more useful I think.
So which version of Daemons mod will UA 1.74 use when it has released?
That would be a right thing to do considering that they are the main troops of the Chaos Daemons and should be reserved for them. In the future, it would be logical to remove the Greater Daemons aswell, and adding Lord of Skulls, Forgefiend, Maulerfiend, Chaos-God-specific Daemon Princes instead.
Black Crusade version of Chaos Space Marines is CSM, Chaos Daemons and Lost and the Damned combined. In that case importing Black Crusade Chaos into this game would make Chaos Daemons irrelevant. I am looking at the Chaos Space Marines Codex right now and I can't see a single Daemonic unit in it apart from Daemon Prince. Chaos Space Marines and Chaos Daemons are entirely seperated races in the latest addition of Warhammer 40k and just like Grey Knights had no place in the Space Marines faction, Daemons should be excluded from CSM army, just to make it feel closer to the actual W40k.
What is the final decision on making Chaos Space Marines faction Daemon-free just like it is in the lore? Since they are getting a revamp, Daemons could be removed aswell. By Daemons I am talking about Greater and Lesser Daemons like Bloodthirster, Horrors, Great Unclean One etc.
I am just gonna leave it here. I love this mod, but it is pointless to talk about balance within mod community because most people who are playing this mod have not much of an idea about what Dawn of War meant to be played in a competitive level. They defend the imbalances in the mod too much without having any idea about it. This talk about Mandrakes reminded me of the forum talk about the weakness of first Necrons tier, which some of these people claimed it was the way Necrons supposed to be played. Luckily Doofus is gonna fix them for 1.74, but it is still hard to talk about balance. As soon as I mention about something like grenades causing unnecessarily damage and too much distruptive weapons make infantry obsolete in the late game, I will get some recommendations from a "tactician", or I will told that "they are supposed to be weak/strong" etc. All I am saying is no need to get defensive when we talk about balance, it won't help this mod get any better and it is really annoying.
Cultists and tactical space marine squads don't have drastically different stats in table top either. Sure in the back ground lore, there are force commanders who have killed entire corrupted imperial guard regiments, there are titans hundreds of meters tall, but in a game it all plays differently.
It is for balance purposes. You can't have a single space marine taking down dozens of cultists, both being in tier 0.
Their gayness referred to their play style in DoW back in 2005 or so. They were terribly imba for the entire DoW period, so people called them gay.
Well, Eldar are gay. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
Don't wait then. It will probably take a while. Or will it?
This is a smooth move to make Lord_Cylarne tell us about the release date. Good one.
Don't worry. We are not hiding anything from you. Or are we?
