Thank you ,the m4a1 new model in 7.1 beta 2 is better for wide screens ,now i tried again and is good. the visual area of the zoom scope in the m4a1 7.1 beta 2 version is smaller and perhaps also more realistic, you may like it more or not. with the circle crosshairs i don't need the pillarbox to the sides. the new m4a1 lacks of some sounds and has different textures. aimpont + suppressor version. I have a 24" 1920x1080 monitor and i use this same resolution.

All weapons's (supp. M4A1 Aim) scope mode circles and handcuffs's crosshair are ovals now ( ELLIPSE shape, very ugly and unrealistic ) in a 16:9 monitor ,how make them back to circle shape ? This game doesn't run right in wide screens . I'd prefer to have 5:4 format/ graphic mode in 16:9 and have two empty black spaces ( PILLARBOX effect !) at left and right sides. The fov is set to 85, and the game's resolution is set to 1920x1080. I tried to change them but doesn't solve . And i tried also to change windows 10 screen res but nothing.

The "M4a1 aim" suppressed assault rifle is worse in sef 7.1 version, i 'm back to 7.0 for the previous version of that rifle. Why worsen it?
Do you know how to export swat4 sef settings ? Also the weapons settings.

I got -20 points when a suspect try to stand up and take the gun from the pocket and i kill him immediately . Is unfair. I got -20 point sometimes even when a suspect aim at me with the weapon and i kill him immediately. It is unfair.

After installing MegaMapPack_v3.0.7z in SEF 7.1 gives this error at the game start : "Unable to load custom skin class DesertATF.DesertATFCustomSkin" .
And many maps don't work.
But everything works in Sef 7.0

Hi,the folder with the game must be placed in d:\GOG Games\SWAT 4\ (or wherever is your swat 4 folder).
Try to launch the game (launchsef.bat) without admin rights (no run as admin). An advice, use total commander to copy (unzip/decompress) and paste files (the directories must be recreated recursively), and no "windows file explorer". with "run as admin" total commander if needed.

Read the Github.com chapter "Building from source", he says the same thing that i wrote here. And if you want to make a backup of your weapons and stuff configuration (my loadout), make a backup of the file DynamicLoadout.ini . d:\GOG Games\SWAT 4\SWATEliteForce-master\System\DynamicLoadout.ini . WHen the author will release the 7.1 in the official release, we will install it how was in the past.

Unzip the folder SWATEliteForce-master from SWATEliteForce-master.zip to (your swat 4 gog location) d:\gog games\swat 4\ ,and unzip all the folders from SEF-Content.zip to d:\GOG Games\SWAT 4\SWATEliteForce-master\Content\ ,then launch CompileSource.bat (without admin rights) . it gives the text 0 errors 22 warning. then relaunch CompileSource.bat, now 0 errors and 0 warnings.
Now you can launch the game with LaunchSEF.bat .

Yes to me too, it happens to everyone ,it is a bug of incompatibility ,it was made for windows ME/XP and now it is running in windows 10 x64 . I have amd gpu and cpu.

Try C:\GOG Games\SWAT 4\Content\System\Swat4.exe <<<< right mouse button > properties > compatibility > run this program as administrator ,then click to OK.
Launch c:\GOG Games\SWAT 4\SEF\LaunchSEF.bat

I have some problems, it doesn't allow me to save the screen resolution, i have win 10 x64.

Copy the folder containing this folder (SEF) into your SWAT 4 directory (the one containing Content and ContentExpansion).
For the CD copy of the game, this folder is located in C:/Program Files (x86)/SWAT 4 or C:/Program Files (x86)/Sierra/SWAT 4
For the GOG version of the game, it's usually located in C:/GOG Games/SWAT 4

!!! CAUTION !!!
Do not extract the SEF folder *into* your Content or ContentExpansion folders (and therefore overwrite things), otherwise the mod will not work correctly.

To run the game, use the "Launch SEFMod.bat" file. To run SWATEd, use the "Launch SwatEd.bat" file.
You can make a shortcut to these .bat files for more convenience.

The mod can be removed by deleting the SEF folder from your hard drive.

NOTE: You may run into an issue with the game not saving your settings, or throwing an assertion failure at times in the Settings menu. This is mostly a problem with Windows Vista and up; try giving the folder write permissions or "Total Control". Alternatively you can make your SWAT4x.exe run in administrator mode.
