Might do. Besides the combat, the first level of the campaign should be pretty much playable soon.

Nope going along slowly, when I get free time.
NBK will be a remake of Dungeon Keeper 1. The aim is for it to load DK1 map files and for someone to be able to complete the original campaign using the NBK engine instead of the original DK1 one (+ features included in KeeperFX). If you're looking for a new Dungeon Keeper like game, War for the Overworld is what you are looking for. They have great team who are making an awesome game.
I've started to work on the functionality of rooms. Which mean I hope to soon have 'My Pet Dungeon' (from DK2) functionality going.
Branch: Github.com
Started to lag a bit when it went over 5,000. The chicken AI isn't exactly intelligent.
NBK uses the DK1 map file format so it will work out of the box! I will check it out soon!
Thanks, for the next release I want the main menu and a 'playable' level. (just a tutorial one showing how to build rooms and what not)
There has been little work on it this year, if not none. Mainly behind the scenes work such as a (partial) a Linux port and increased performance.
The thing is there is a lack of developers - I try to contribute what i can from time to time. I expect to be able to put a lot more work into it around late January. If anyone would like to contribute, artwork, sounds or programming - Please contact me.
Things i might do soon:
-Moar AI...
-Implant audio into the engine (anyone good with openAL message me :P)
-Things missing from the pre-rewrite:
*Minimap
*Doors
*Animated textures
*Thoes little flames that go round the edge of the room :S
One thing i have been mentally planning is networking.
Yeah, its what im trying to aim for. Might start to work on what happens when enimies meet. Lets see how it goes :S
We actually had this feature working, but its disabled because it cased some other problems. The main focus now is networking an AI.
haha, i hope to have a lot more videos up here showing gameplay as work gets done. Im also hoping to attract some more developers.
Its mostly just me working on game features, and i work on it when i get free time. (which isnt that much at the moment) We also have someone working of a linux port PROGRESS S18.postimage.org
I hope to be able to put a lot more work into it soon, and hopefully get more people to help. I want to work on creature AI next so they will be able to feast on theese delicious chickens!
Well, first our linux port is going well! (works on Fedora and Ubuntu, others not tested)
yeah there is alot missing from the original nbk to the rewrite. Mini map and stuff needs to be finished :(
Yes i am going to make an announcement soon about somthing.
Linux client wont be out for a while
Well it was orignally planned to be open source. However it conflicted with the UDK licence - so it mostdefinitly will be free.
Nice, im thinking of porting my game over to Linux, so this will be another good reason to do so.
If the demand is high enough, i will release another demo.
Yeap ive done some more coding. Implanted some spells. Need to do a lot of AI, a lot.
Its prolly because he spawned so many another imp has taken the job.
looks like CS condition zero lol
