go to your user account control settings first, to do this simply click the user icon located at the top of your start menu then look for change user account control settings, simply slide the bar down to "never notify", this is to make sure that you will have no conflict in extracting the codex files to your directory, to install just simply extract it one by one from part 1 to 3.5 to your dow ss directory folder.

ive tried combining the tyranid mod and codex mod but there seems to be a problem... why cant I press the building option for hives and other structures located in the middle of the taskbar in codex mod 3.5 with tyranid mod v0.5b. it only works for Tyranid GDM but in tyranid mod with codex it doesnt? plsss helllppp!!! i really want this mod to work fine for my codex 3.5 mod...

actually in tyranids codex 3.5 you cant press it, but in GDM alone you can.

there is actually no "pretty green little gem in the middle of the taskbar, it doesn't work for codex 3.5, but in tyranids GDM it works.
