Jesus christ LA really lived up to my hype, the atmosphere absolutely owns the one in the other stalker games and so do the maps and the graphics and oh my, the only grips that i have are with the gameplay, namely the AI is horrible and the game seems really, really easy partially because of said ai and partially because stuff like the AK and SVD are pretty easily acquirable, this last thing might be a design choice and its ok but im assuming the AI and the difficulty level will be improved in patches right?
Also for some reason there seem to be no random stashes in cordon or garbage even though i got many coordinates when playing some of the other maps, nevertheless the game is brilliant and im pretty sure you people managed to revive the franchise with this release- i can hardly wait for the mod tools and thank you so much for making this, i did not expect it nailing down the atmosphere the way i always wanted stalker atmosphere to be like this well. It feels like im actually playing my dream game, the tarkovsky movie influences and the mood of the early builds is so overwhelming right now im convinced LA does the feeling of exploring a truly foreign and strange environment better than any game i have ever played. Thank you!

Im very happy with how this turned out, sure there are bugs and crashes and some issues- especially the ai which seems to be completely retarded making the game at least towards the beginning 2009 complete tier easy but im sure the team will take care of this in the patches and its not like issues were not expected (quite the opposite). Still id like to thank dezowave for the great job theyve done and congratulate them in making LA live up to the hype!

thats left to third party mods, someone is already working to get lurk gun replacements in the game so it shouldnt take long either

Last 2 parts downloading right now, i think its time for a big thank you to the team for actually making this ******* happen holy ****. Im actually feeling really nostalgic about this because of all the memories of getting hyped up for LA all these years, it feels like im about to play brand new stalker game and for that im extremely great full, especially considering without LA i seriously doubt i would feel this way ever again after CoP.

Its not really a shitstorm is it though, people are just getting really impatient which is understandable considering how long this has been hyped up. Sure its annoying but i dont see why people are making this into such a big deal, it wont hurt anyone in any way if a few people post annoyed comments because they've been staying up for 20 hours waiting for the thing.
