Weird what you say about Jungle joyride being the toughest on the CPU. It runs fine on my rig, yet there's a section in savannah citadel that really slows down things if you implement anisotropic filtering. It's the bit just before the wall running section that takes you out to the 2D tree section around the middle of the level. It really doesn't like those draw distances with that texture filtering.
