I second this. I really like that the mod makes the world more lively by adding random patrols, but with ammount of EDF troops it spawns the moment you get yellow status, game becomes really hard to enjoy. Assault missions are overcrowded with guards, and the only way to win them is to take a heavy truck and hope you destroy the key building before they destroy your truck. Addition of tanks to defence missions is surely an amazing feature. It fells awesome when you camp in sniping spot when suddenly the balcony you're standing on collapses. But the ammount of reinforcements makes those missions IMPOSSIBLE to complete even on easy difficulty.

TL;DR grat mod, but needs A LOT of balancing. Unforgiving = Fun, but unfair doesn't.

I have black screen instead of main menu. Previous version works fine, but i really hate the idea of replacing signature weapon with pathetic pistol.

Meh, for me this mod has really nice level design, but lacks such basic thing as AI.

Ok, now it loads maps, but is missing vcd files. Does anyone know soulution?

I have a really irritating issue with SMOD. Whenever I start the game, i recieve plenty of errors like:
Unknown scene specified: "scenes/Expressions/citizen_scared_idle_01.vcd"
And that's pretty bad because you can't play the game without those files. Does anyone knows how to fix it, or what is a cause of that errors? Propably the infamous Steampipe update...but still, is there any way to play good old SMOD again. Ah, and of course i have HL2, Deadmatch and lost coast on steam legally. And just verified HL2 files.
