As i do appreciate dedicated and skilled single individuals, like Mark IV for Brutal Doom, i just had to link to the smallest and best Iron Sight mod + models for CS1.6 that i have encountered so far...by a coincidence,
AlenCore_CS_pack_v1.7z: http://www.mediafire.com/?c0nsvt0yllbn6qy . It took this person almost 2 years to get working Iron Sight-plugins!!!

PS!You need to remove this line in the cwz_weapon.ini...
"//folder, v_model, weapon id, recoil setting when iron sighted, folder containg the reorigin/iron sighted model"
...or else the pack won't load your game.

How much you gonna add? Sooner or later, some day, not much additions will renew Brutal Doom. So, are you preparing for a final release? If not, then what month during 2012 is v17 expected for release?

Seems others are trying to copy some of the idea behind "Brutal Doom" ( post 13 states Brutal Doom is the source ). Not much, only some gore at the moment...it seems.

Who can blame MarkIV?

Like me: i have bought +80 Steam-games and still i practically only play Killing Floor and Brutal Doom. +90 % of my Steam-games are even 0 hours played and some of them are two tears old. I have no interest!

The addiction are strictly Killing Floor ( thousands of hours ) and Brutal Doom. Why? It´s really simple actually: due to the amazing FUN-factor!!! It has nothing to do with graphics...that much i can tell you! Funfactor is much more valuable!

Hehe, with that kind of rhetorical argument...i guess i must concede. It´s just a shame that talent can´t get rewarded considering our capitalistic world. Intelligens and craftmanship are valuable assets in comparison with those unjustified salaries within movie, singing and arts ( they are of no real practical value to human society ).

Besides, i have said so before, i think MarkIV should make a deal with Id and sell it on Steam. MarkIV´s talent should be rewarded. Is no shame in it at all! I would be one of the buyers, then i want to support his work. I will not donate, only pay for it as retail! Don´t be ashamed MarkIV, for having stated before the mod to be free. It is allowed to change one´s mind!!!

What? I did not notice that! I stopped playing v17 as soon as i heard those new less impressive player pain sounds!

If that´s true, then i laso request that you do not change old sound just like EHK says!

The new player pain sounds just made me say "HUH?", grin and then wrinkle my forehead in disbelief! Do not bring back original sounds, your own ideas are obviously...MUCH, MUCH better!

Don´t understand your concern at all!

Wanting proper grammar displayed on screen is a matter of taste and since it was improper grammar, you cant state that Mark would oppose someone reporting it. It is also a kind of bug and bugs should always be reported to the developer and then he/she decides what action to take.

Besides, i wanted to describe how to correct this "bug" and therefore i share my findings with others. Do as you like!

I got an answer from some guy...somewhere: change the text in "HEALTH"-lump to correct "Awared" to "Awarded". Yep, time for school again!

I have downloaded SlumpEd. Can you tell me where i can find the file with "Awared" displayed as a text on the screen when achieving cruelty bonus? I want to delete that file. I am a bit of a perfectionist and i dont like that improper grammar on the screen. Looks weird and pronounces weird! Is disturbing for me!
