The Misery Mod is the best download I have played Period. I have been playing Misery since the first release, and the mod always impresses me as each new version comes out with something fresh being small detail to Pseudo-giant size! The Misery Dev team has devoted a huge amount of time and the final product sure walks the talk. Stalker COP seems to be a outdated, finiky, and unstable engine when it comes to modding. Knowing that I'm surprised Misery was able to have all its features work properly and balanced. A lot of gameplay mechanics implemented you will never find in any big game title to release. You must be aware of almost every thing in the reality Misery will throw at you and react accordly. If you don't you might (or usually) die, just like in real life if you were in the same situation and did the same mistakes. That is not to say to you can have mistakes.. it just hurts more when it comes to constant survival in a environment such as the Zone.

However the end question is: IS IT FUN?!? HELLS YEAH IT IS!!
It really depends on your taste if you like challenging games or casual games. There is a Rookie mode if prefer, but that is everyone's individual choice. But don't be stupid and download the mod and bitch about it being to hard because it doesn't fit YOU. Your playing the wrong game. Try Angry Birds instead. Personally I think the difficultly is balanced, fair, and realistic for HARDCORE SURVIVABILITY. I Enlisted to join the US Marines Corps and I believe playing a game as real as this helps to learn a good tactical sense if your going to be in the military.

The Graphics can be equivalent to next-Gen material if your Computer can handle it. Unfortunately I have had to download the Texture Optimizing pack to run the mod.

Overall, This mod ROCKs,hardly ever gets old, keeps you hooked every second of gameplay, and has Replay value UNLIKE no other game I have played through, thanks to Real Time Environment Engine (A-life) Misery enhanced X100.
