Are there any links to download the original game? I cant install it from the disc anymore but I love this game

Actually, the ratings of guns differ because of the types of guns carried. Ships were only technically rated based on the number of long guns, (standard cannon)on board. The Constitution's main deck guns were shorter carronades at the time.

Just a quick Question. What are some of the other ships you guys are currently working on? I'm really excited to increase the shipyards :D

I love the effects of the water action. The rolling water has always been a higlight of this game for me.

So i looked on the forums, is there an ETA on that Ship rigged Sloop-of-War? She looks sooo cool, I would love to see the Sloop of War USS Constellation in here :D Also I have a suggestion for another good ship to add, The Tigre frigate from Pirates of the Burning sea. She would look so great in here.

Have you guys considered working on an actual Model of the Achron from Master and Commander? I know you dont face the french as your main enemy in that storyline but i think it would be cool none the less to have an accurate model...not just a recolored Constitution. And also have you considered the Nuestra Senora de la Santisima Trinidad as a new addition as well? I think they would both be great ships to have.

Or, well.....she had a lot of different compliments of guns....when she was at Trafalgar she carried 136.

Im just curious...Have you guys considered putting the Santisima Trinidad in here yet? Only 4 decker ship of the line and at 144 guns she would make one heck of an addition.

I have a problem, my game glitched up a while back and refused to run so i quit playing for a few months. I uninstalled it today and when i attempted to reinstall it i got a Data Error(cyclic redundancy check) when installing the original game so i could upgrade to version 14.2

Any idea what might be causeing this and how to fix it?

Oh and one quick question while im thinking about it, whenever I use the HMS Surprise in the game, my frame rate drops like a cannonball, any idea why that might be by chance? This only happens with the Surprise too

With as far as this game has come, I honestly believe that you could do it. Its only a matter of time before that breakthrough in my opinion. So what other ships are in possible development? Im really excited about the HMS Unicorn. :D

Will it ever be possible to add cannon recoil animations? I know this engine's capabilities are limited but you did manage to get the steam ship to work properly! Who knows what else is possible!!! :D

Too bad there isnt a way to customize your gun batteries. In Pirates of the Burning Sea, the Deliverance frigate (based off the unicorn) is my favorite ship. It is nice with the ability to have a heavy hitting gundeck while retaining the faster firing guns above. I believe it is 16 pounders on the gundeck and 8 pounders above.

Nice work, ummm i have another issue though....my game has stopped working, all saved games were deleted, and when i attempt to start a new one, the screen cuts to black and sends me to desktop where i recieve an error message that the game has stopped working.....any tips on a fix?

Hey, its me again....i post here because it wont let me create a forum account for PA!. In the Tales of a Sea Hawk storyline, you go to the tavern on Tortuga, meet a certain guy who gives you a certain item.....game creators....you know what i mean.......Where do i go to use this item? how can i find that certain "island" using the item?

Im having trouble with the Hoist the colors storyline, while working for beckett out of Port Royale...doing his 3rd mission to recieve a company ship, he sends you to Puerto Rico, i pick up Thomas Tipman from the Taven in Port Royal, sail to Puerto Rico, he tells me to ask around, and meet in the tavern later......What am i supposed to do to look around? i dont understand!

I cant wait for the Raa! that is one of my favorite ships.

I have a Question....Im stuck in the Jack sparrow storyline, i get to the pirate port after ditching the Agent on Barbados, i knock her out, then when i get to the Pirate lords office, he agrees to let me take the girls, but when i get to the port.....all 3 are standing there but i have no idea what to do.....i cant talk to them or anything.....just a glitch maybe?

I know this isnt about the HMS Victory, but I know you guys have added the Poseidon in, have you considered using other ships from the Burning Sea? I think it would be neat to see a Defiant class frigate or a Tigre Frigate or something like that.

Ok well I keep having trouble running the game............occasionally the game quits itself and it says "pirates of the caribbean: new horizons has stopped working" so i just start it up again and its fine again, but I am also having trouble where it bugs with this message constalty everytime i try to perform the action of going to sea. I save the game before leaving port or anytime before hitting the open sea, but when I attempt to open the local sailing area the screen goes black and reports it has stopped working....but now it is doing it EVERY time i try to open the local sailing area.....I cant continue with my game now.
It also only seems to happen at later lvls. The first time this happened I was lvl 29, this time I am lvl 36.

Ok well I downloaded the patch 6 and its awesome. Just one question though.....How can i get my leadership skill up? what actions increase that skill?

When installing.....if prompted to replace items in the folder comes up....my options are: yes, yes to all, no, and no to all.....what should i select?

Where do I download this to when prompted?

Sorry if it has already been asked in here before, when downloading this, I must already have (Build14 Beta full 1) first right? Then install this on top of it?

Stange thing to ask here....is that music in the background some new open sea music that comes with the build? or is it an extra music pack? (please say it comes with it)

Why was the one that you can't have not updated but the one you CAN have was? sorry I am just being petty here

I have a problem. I am still playing build 13 and When I found the Black Pearl she wasn't Reskined!! She was still the 44 gun lineship from the original game. Please help is there some kind of bug or was the pearl not updated in Build 13?
