Butthurted people over at the Nexus forums jabbed me in the back with their big banhammer, maybe their ePeen is now bigger, but anyway, my advice, in general, is to avoid that place like plague itself, if you hate seeing people rulling over you like Hitler and locking your stuff up without even the smallest amount of concrete and undeniable damn proof. To hell with your network, Robin. I prefer nowdays uploading my stuff to Moddb or Mediafire, where people are not biased towards reports like your site staff is.
Fan is set to the following parameters (manually modified because the card sounds like a jet when nearing 50°C)
50% at 55°C
60% at 60°C
65% at 65°C
Stress test with Mount & Blade: Warband (the only game that I have now) gives me average temperatures around 40°/45° C.
Card is air-cooled and very silent due to the phonoisolant material that I used when I sealed my case (an Itek Dominator 1st). Remember that sealing the case with some isolant material not only improves silence, but also ventilation within the case.
Just be sure to have one exhaust fan and three others (or just one big one) blowing air from the outside. Hot air tends to go up, so putting the exhaust fan(s) up there will improve the temp's in your case.
