Hi, I like your ideas on this project. I tried to do something like this using that third person tutorial from SDK-Project, but it doesn't work for me, are you parenting the player to an npc or is it a prop_dynamic like in the other tutorial?

Hey, I really like your Hammer mod, infact I started my mod thru sdk-project inspiration as well. =D

But I wanted to ask you, how´d you do the health bar in the zombie fighting game, or what entities did you use? I never did figure out how to have an changing value that affects something like that, as in, a value that prints something on screen.. or, yeah. It´d be really helpful if you could point me to the right direction OR just tell what entities that involves? SDK-Projects uses that all the time, but I havent figured it out. =P

Thanks in advance,
Leon

I used a logic_playerproxy (it reads your health and out puts it to other entites)being set off by a logic timer every 0.5 secs with the output RequestPlayerHealth, this output gives the logic_playerproxey's value to a group of logic_cases which in turn outputted on to a load of func_brushes disabling them as your health goes down. I hope that helps if you need any more help do not hesitate to ask.
