For some reason i only get new dinosaur skins,but no upgrade on the buildings or terrain...any tip?

I got one question :)
Is it just me or Al is behaving very strangely,like not using spells and rarely using heroes?Only Mordor seems to build Nazgul,and then they just build Morgul riders?And Goblins just build infantry and trolls?
I love this mod but playing against Al like this is boring :(
