Clicking the exe does nothing. It just gives me a popup telling me that I don't have a valid installation. I bouth the game and the DLC on steam. I don't know what the **** is going on.

I can't seem to install this. I followed the directions in the readme, but nothing happened. I double checked all the settings mentioned and even moved the folder and MML to the main Aleph One folder at one point to see if I misinterpreted where to put it. Is it just out of date?

So, I installed 5.9.0's core and the race mods using the installer.
I then patched it using this installer and installed the Free UI mod and the objective points mod by extracting them to my Soulstorm folder as instructed.
I have no other mods installed.
The mod launches, but crashes when viewing certain models in the army painter and when trying to start a skirmish.
I could use some help.
As a sidenote, it took me two days to figure out which mods to install because there are no specific files listed in the guide, and the directions to use the installer are very unclear. It tells you very little about what to do and absolutely nothing about what not to do. A proper detailed guide would be nice.
EDIT: I toggled the LAA and now it works.

So, does this work with 2.02 v8.0.1? Or does it only work with 202 v8.0.0?
