To install on the latest Ubuntu linux, just use the package manager or
sudo apt-get install openarena

or if you want the latest version of OA, Getdeb.net
Download the program and the data, install the date file first(by double clicking) and then install the program file(again by double clicking)

If you're telling us something, don't use a question mark:

"This is the Windows 9x/NT/2k/XP/Vista? installer of OpenArena 0.6.0." *might* be a questions (conventionally, the question mark goes at the end).

If you mean "This is the Windows 9x/NT/2k/XP installer of OpenArena 0.6.0. It hasn't been tried with the new bloated Vista version of Windows, so try it and let us know if it works" just say so clearly and without ambiguity.

altough the installer says it only requires 650megs of hd space, actually during the patching process it takes up to 2,5 Gigs of hd space. Beware!!!

Excellent job. I liked everything except for the replacement supershotgun and chainsaw. Not very fitting (snarks ftw). But other than that, I was surprised by the sheer awesomeness that was contained within this PWAD. Kudos abound.
