3, actually. A little over.

For what they managed with a small team and group of contributors (myself included) working on it in their spare time, it came out pretty good for that amount of time. This "it took that long to make this?" thing is a load of crap - mod development isn't full time and you can't even begin to compare the time it takes to make something in your spare time with people that in most cases you'll never even see in person to, say a full scale AAA development team and budget working full time 8 hours a day. That doesn't include crunch, in which developers typically spend months on end working long hours (9, 10, and more) and weekends to get the game done on time and even then they can get delayed. You then expect a mod team 1/3rd the size or less of a development studio working about 1/3rd or less (often less) the hours of a full time team every day and on no pay to churn something just as good as a retail product in the same amount of time? Uh-uh. Doesn't work that way.

Not liking it is perfectly fine, but I can't buy this criticism for taking 'too long.' :P

Really glad all you guys are looking forward to it. :)

For the moment, we're in a sort of "media moratorium." That means that for a while, we lay low and don't really show any new content. This lets us better focus on many of the goals of completing Nightwatch as a whole and make sure everyone's back up to speed following the holidays, finals, mid-terms, and the numerous other conflicts that came up over the last few weeks.

We'll make it up to you by keeping the public updated on some of the happenings behind the scenes and, of course, our largest-scale media release yet when we come back out of it. In the meantime, thank you for your patience and, of course, support. :)

Actually, we have 9, and most of us have done some sort of NS work or another somewhere along the road. In fact, Ken (who started Chapter 4) made ns_nothing, tommyd (Chapter 1 and parts of Chapter 3) made ns_tanith, and I made ns_eclipse and ns_veil. :)

Well, I must say I'm pleasantly surprised. I had no idea that we'd still get this much interest after I even stopped updating the profile! Our modwatch count has skyrocketed and we still get decent traffic from here.

I've decided to start updating here again. I've unlocked the ratings and begun restructuring the media gallery. Enjoy. :)
