Try to use order "use secondary weapon". It should do the trick.

Though, I am fairly certain it has something to do with Disable Wound System submod, problem began to occur on my end after adding it.

You probably are referring to random encounters. Don't end them with TAB, wait for them to end on their own.

With missing companions, you should try to check with Slavers and Travellers. I never used cheat mode, but when they disappear it's because they got captured or were displeased with you - so you could ransom them or find them in inns.

Income is always a problem, mostly because there are more lords and clans, and they seem to be far more agressive than in original gekokujo. Basically, they loot villages like crazy, so the prosperity rarely goes up. Take castle of town. Kyoto, for example, gives you five digit income. Combined with Sakai, well... you can support huge army out of that.

About persuading, you have to be friends with them and you should tell them a reason that coresponds with their character. Malicious and self-centered lords won't respond to promises of fair treating and peace.

Honour is gained by doing honourable deeds, more or less. You get those points for fighting off bandits, refusing to receive a reward for fighting off bandits, refusing to get paid for bounty hunt quest, returning to your Lord if you are enlisted, rescuing lords from castles and towns and letting go lords you capture during battles. Those are ones I can name from the top of my head.

Try giving it a couple of minutes, new game tends to starts out slow. Just be patient - or go and make a coffee in the meantime.

Got a few, few things you should look down upon, mate.

1. Samurai Archers/Gunners are OP. Way too OP. To the point I can fight an army of 100 with my army of Yumi and Teppo consisting of only 30 people, and get out without a single loss. It is a game breaking experience.

2. Katanas are listed as one handed weapons. However, Training katanas are listed as two-handed weapons. It is a bit inconsistent.

3. Teppo's learning rate is way too high. One hit with a teppo gave me +8 to firearms skill because I got a lucky headshot. Few shots later, I'm reloading it a very quick rate, shooting bullseye after bullseye.

4. You should look down on strategist position. When I as a player got this position, all lords from my faction stopped to fight, and just gathered for endless feasts at my hall - one I haven't even issued, so all the fighting was on me.

5. Training yari is the only weapon with jousting ability - and a weapon you cannot get by normal measures. Was it a mistake on your part or a concious choice? Because of that, cavalry is pretty much useless, because they quickly get downed by archers, gunners and yari wielders. At full gallop, one strike by basic spearman can damage you at nearly three digit damage.

6. Kozane armors - most of them at least - looks bulky and... bad. Straight up bad, they look like they were drawn in paint. Yukinoshita armor looks pristine and well maintained, but Kozane needs new, better model.

7. Voice commands aren't bound to certain order, but to certain button. So telling your troops to use mellee weapons sounds exactly the same as telling them to hold position. It can get pretty annoying at some point, if you focus on tactics a lot.

8. Two times already, after loading a save, my character was naked, same as all my companions. Not a single item on them, no money in inventory and all of my stats were down to 4, level down to 1. In both cases I was at a point when I was a force on my own.

9. Multiple times my character was switched with one of my companions (face changed, got their equipment, lost all items in inventory and not a single mon). It always happens when I send them to mission to gain right to rule, but this error can be reversed by just saving and loading - though face and name still stays the same, so I have to change it back.

Cheers.

Oh, dood.

Wound system was taken from other mod, which was listed and it didn't took me much time to check how it works.

Basically - you have minor and severe wounds. Minor takes one point of stat, severe takes stats and skills. It's temporary if you avoid further injury. So if you break an arm, try not to get another injury for next few battles, and in about 3 weeks it should be back up. Unless you get another injury, then the one you got is permanent, and you can heal up only one, current.

Got an injury? Focus on commanding troops and use distance weapons, and you'll be just fine.

le edit: difference between minor and severe injury is only how long it will heal. Severe ones takes longer, minor ones takes less time.

I think it just varies. As in vanilla mount and blade, lords personalities and agression changes with each new game. In my game, Ashikaga was most agressive clan (and first one to perish, lol).

Yep, it happens at the very beggining, when things are heated up. Once a faction or two is eliminated and clans stops to fight wars with five enemies at once it runs smoothly.

Yo! Here to swipe that lovely badge you're promising.

Reinforcement numbers depends on Battle Advantage. At the very beggining of the battle, there are two statistics that show. Renown for the battle (which is a lie, you ususally get few points lower than that) and said Battle Advantage (BA)

Battle advantage is a measure of how well your army is prepared to fight against current enemy. 0 means it's pretty much balanced and neither side has advantage over the other, negative numbers (-1, -2 and so on) means you are at disadvantage, positive numbers (1, 2 and so on) means you have advantage over the other. The higher BA number, the bigger waves are there (so basically, if you are at -5 BA, you shouldn't be surprised to fight 20 vs 80, it's just how it is). So, you need to raise BA by having more troops than your opponent, getting high tactics skill (up to +7 BA gained just by it!) and high morale of your troops.

As to routing, I believe you cannot turn it off. You can prevent your own troops from running by chasing them, then they should return to battle, but once enemy starts to run, he is most likely to keep on running.

Hi!

To find the lair, you need to follow these steps:
1. Check the name of the lord who gave you the quest
2. Listen to him telling you about the quest - he hints you where they usually have hideouts (in mountain area, snowy area, near islands etc.)
3. Check which town (NOT a castle!) he is a lord of.
4. Search in the vicinity of said town. F.e if you are looking for Kinai rebels, they are usually near Sakai. So if Great Lord Miyoshi asks you to repell them, and you are closer to Nara or Kyoto than to Sakai - then you went too far.

Hope that helps!

Most likely, they are destructible doors. Try destroying them with your weapon.
