How to fix Black Snow crashing at the intro? Start game with params "-console -dxlevel 81", next open a console and write "mat_dxlevel 85". Enjoy! And change GameInfo: search "Fixes for HL2:EP2 mods broken by the SteamPipe update"

Steam shows Fallingliquid mod name as "MOD NAME". Caused probably by Steam Pipe update.
