Should you start a game with story mode? It seems to me that the standard CoC questline is conflicting with the new storyline added by Lost to the Zone addon. Maybe not technically, but thematically?

I have the same issue, first it occured while going to Yantar from Agroprom as well.

But it also happens with many other map transits as well.

Have you found the root cause or a fix?

I love this modpack, but I get the following crashes during loading save games and transitioning between maps. I've enabled full a-life (could be relevant?)

I enjoy this mod, but I have some issues with it.

I went loner, and with the default settings I can easily get allied with practically every faction just by killing bandits. Because bandits are enemies of other factions.

But not just that, the loner faction also gets alliance with everyone because of that.

I think your original idea is solid, so is your script, but it has to be redesigned.

The problem is that CoC and the game logic behind it treats loners, and bandits as factions, with leadership and changeable allegiances.

But the whole point of the loner faction is that you are alone. It is the *.* faction, everyone gets there who isn't part of a group.

It is like atheism: You aren't part of the atheist religion, because you are not part of any religion, and that fact alone does not create another religion with that belief.

You MIGHT say that would work with bandits, but not really. It isn't an organized crime syndicate, just a faction there to be the enemy of the player.

I've tried modifying by removing both bandits and loners from the faction list, but that caused me to not gain or lose any points at the other factions.

What I want to achieve is to be able to gain favor by the military, or duty, or freedom, over the expense of the others, and without affecting the loner faction as a whole. Getting allied with everyone should not be possible, nor should it be easy to get to that point even with one faction. I want a system, where if I get into alliance with say, Duty, I get to be at least below 0 with Freedom for example.

For that the script itself has to be changed.

IDK if you still work on your mod, or not. In case you don't, and in case I get time I might look at the code and change it to my own fashion. I am only trying to spark a discussion and perhaps give you some ideas.

Added an update, it works with 1.4 now. At least it haven't crashed on my part now. Also wrote down how I avoided the crash and how one can add new armor support.

I have the exact same issue, in Army Warehouses, with at least 4+ saves I had. If you do not get this CTD the first time you enter the place, you will never get it later. Sadly I do not know how to fix it.

The radioactive food part of Call of Changes causes crash on new game. Do not use that feature.

You mean the delay when equipping the helmet? Well, I could shorten it, but without the delay the game crashes on load. I didn' think it was too long, after all, you are equipping a gas mask, this does take some time IRL.

If you mean the hit effects, I could look into it, perhaps increase the frequency of the function called.

I fixed the NBC and Rad Suit after I released the mod, if you want I can upload the new version. It is just +2 lines in the actor_effects.script file for them.
