All my saves have G.Story__State of 0. Even back in Santa Monica. Downtown. All 30 saves. I guess leaving it on a long time messed up every save down the line and bugs only appeared once accessing Hollywood?

I'll load a much older save and see if it fixes the problem.

My G.Story_State is 0. G.Bertram_Map is 1. I have actually left the game open nonstop, so I am not sure how that would have happened. Yes, I still have the Sewer Works Manual.

Another bug as a Nosferatu. I returned to Downtown (currently main quest is on getting the tape) with the fetish in hand for Pisha. As I entered the abandoned hospital, the man from the TV show ran up to me again as if I never did the quest. But Pisha was waiting for me to give her the item when I went down there.

Also, the serial killer quest only had options, as a Nosferatu, that ended in a goodbye -- nothing else. I had to attack him from a distance with a projectile to finish the quest.

Just want to report what seems like a bug. I am in the Hollywood area as a Nosferatu after having completed the first half of the video quest. I went to the motel to finish the serial killer quest. Upon returning to Santa Monica, I found myself unable to activate the map in the sewers. It seems like no matter how many times I reload before going there, it bars me from leaving Santa Monica since I cannot access the map. It simply won't flash or prompt the engage button as the cursor is over it. Is there a workaround?

It seems that if the police notice you on the Elizabeth Dane, even if you do not kill them, your dialogue option to LaCroix will be that it was a massacre. At least for the Nosferatu, have not checked with others. I had one guard shoot at me as I ran to the boat. Massacre was my only dialogue option to LaCroix.

It seems the trigger for "massacre" is being noticed, rather than dispatching any attackers. I will have to double check this later, but I thought I should mention it.

I'm not sure if this is just me, but I wanted to report it. I've found the obfuscate timer seems to be a bit glitched. I can't see the counter on it some of the time. The bar stays fully dark. Makes it hard to time reupping it.

The male Nosferatu sire is a female Toreador model at the beginning of the game, in the bedroom, and then female Nosferatu in the theater scene. At least in my experience.

Really great work with this. I don't know if this is intentional or not, but if you attack Mike Durban / Muddy in the Surfside Diner when he is making his telephone call, and he transforms, he stays aggro'd and inside, even if you re-enter.

It seems to be common with many NPC's, like Imalia, for example. Not sure if you have that experience, too. I have screenshots of some.

The camera keeps making the text box cover people's faces. Is that a new thing or something that has yet to be fixed?

You are an incredible modder, and I am so grateful for your work. Thank you so much for "War Games." VTMB is imo quite possibly one of the greatest RPGs of all time, and you used the assets beautifully, as well as adding some beautiful ones of your own.

I encourage you to keep the legacy of "War Games" alive. I tell everyone I know about it. I will play it again very soon. I really wish you were on the team for VTMB2. Your grasp of what makes Bloodlines Bloodlines is perfect. You captured the essence of the original and successfully translated it to WW2. It's just so amazing, I can never say that enough.

By the way, thanks a lot for making this mod, argikt! It really should be paid for by the WoD IP holders and made official. It's that good. I created a soundtrack for your mod and put it on my phone. I'm obsessed. Some of the quests were so, so, so poignant or shocking. Especially the "chocolate factory" one. That one sent chills down my spine.

You have to use the Cipher ability to send the telegraph. It's basically a computer terminal.

Honestly, War Games is one of the best game experiences I have had in a long time. There are a lot of bugs and it needs a lot of polish, but the imagination, clever design, great new musical choices, sheer number of excellent boss fights, and everything else make this something that should be refined continually like the original. This is a masterpiece of fan-modding. An absolute masterpiece. MASTERPIECE.

Be mindful to save very often if playing this because it still needs polish, but you will love it if you enjoyed the original Bloodlines and want something new, with 4 massive hubs and lots of new quests.

There is a workaround. Instead of leaving through the EXIT at the end of the level, backtrack to the entrance and leave by car, where you began (that red-lit parking structure). That way, your log won't reset and make you do the Poland mission again, endlessly. Leaving through that EXIT door at the end seems to reset the quest. Hope that helps. Wish it weren't almost a year later.

In that case, Grunfeld without the accent, rather than Gruenfeld, might look the most natural.

Also, when I punch Joyce at the beginning, it says at the top left, "Female says, "who's there?" or "What was that?" (maybe change that text to Joyce?). When I punch Grunfeld Bach, he says in a different, non-Grunfeld male voice, "What's wrong?" or something like that. Not a critical issue that affects gameplay, but just letting you know in case you may want to change that. I'm being exhaustive, so if that's too much, just let me know, and I'll only look for core problematic gameplay issues.

You got it. The first thing I'd report, which isn't really a bug but more of an inconsistency, is that in the original VTMB, it's "Grünfeld Bach," with the accent on the "u," whereas in the Prelude I, it is spelled "Gruenfeld Bach." I'll let you know if I find any other actual gameplay issues.

I forgot to mention the NPCs also attack each other when I attack one of them. Have you tried that? Even if I miss, if I swing in the general vicinity of one, the other assists me attacking the one I attack.

Hey Wesp5, glad to hear that! I will keep that in mind! So the game crashes when I attack the transformed vampire in the final fight, specifically, it seems to crash when I use Holy Light 1 or 2 on it. The second I use that ability on it, in fact, it crashes. Also, I seem to be experiencing issues with the two companions in the Metro attacking each other. Usually, it is initiated when I talk to one of them. The other just starts shooting or slicing the other.

I just created an account (Guest post here was me). Wesp5, I have been following your work for years, and I think you're one of the most important figures in the world of games. Bloodlines is a contender for the best RPG ever made, and your dedication to it is likely the reason we're seeing a sequel now. I wish there were a way you could be paid for your efforts. I know you do it out of love. Maybe the new owners of the WoD IP will recognize your efforts and formally give you a salary to create these expansions. You're truly a genius.
