Most of the problems I see is that the mod isn't supported by the latest patch of CK2 v2.3 and have the game on Steam. The conflict derives from either one of two Key features: the new portraits and/or when selecting "Ambitions". Also, having some of the DLCs e.g. "Way of Life" will cause conflicts with current build of this MOD. There maybe more conflicts that are within the MOD vs CK2 v2.3, but I did not find them while investigating the issue.

While it is possible to play without these features, it really does handicap your play through. But, there is a solution to overcome these hurdles until the creators of this MOD release a patch to resolve these issues.

I would recommend to "update" the game to an earlier version (v.2.2.1) by right clicking the game in your folder and selecting "properties" -> then select "BETAS" -> then select the appropriate version that is supported by the MOD -> then "update" the game when you click play, which Steam will automatically revert the game to the build that you choose.

My question to gotgame21: Did you buy the game via steam? If so, how are you able to resolve these issues. Thanks

yes, I have... it is quite annoying.

I would recommend avoid using the household guard until they patch the mod. I am sorry I can't help you, I've been looking for a solution to that bug for about a week.

by any chance, are you playing on the current build? Or the one previous to v0.9.1

Thanks for the response!

I eventually roll back'd my version of ck2 to v2.2.1 and installed the mod that corresponds with that version. lol just to get my AGOT fix, it wasn't the same - didn't give me that "buzz" I was looking for. I also didn't want to get too involved in my new play through, because I am sure that the creators are working hard to push an update so soon after the last release.

I can't wait to try out the new mechanics in this mod! Again, thanks for the response, and you have a wonderful day as well :-)

A week passes and no update... maybe short time tables wouldn't be in everyone's best interest. Nonetheless, I do enjoy the mod and I thank everyone involved for their hard work.

Does anybody have an annoying bug that crashes your game when you choose an ambition? I am quite sure that this bug is not on the original game, because I have never dealt with this before.

Any idea on how to fix this? I have already re installed the mod and verified the game (on steam)

I still want to know if it is possible to remove the "house guard" even notification... it doesn't let me close the event - it doesn't give me a button to press.

Just wondering if you need to be someone in particular to access this modifier
