might be dumb to post this- given that what i'm trying to do probably isn't supported by your team, but upon attempting to install this- i am not seeing the race name in the skirmish menu. Just shows as "Race:" and additionally in the army painter there appears to be a sequence of numbers followed by "No Range" for instance 19390100 No Range.

Before you ask me yes I'm trying to cram this into UA. Probably not kosher. But here I am.

I'm wondering if I'm perhaps installing something incorrectly- or if this is known-

Any information would be awesome.

That's strange? I was able to sent the shortcut from my SS folder to my desktop and have been able to run both 1.73.9 and (at least) the content currently available with THB (i.e. the install protocol)

I believe the Play New Races shortcut is going to be the shortcut to start THB as Cylarne mentioned that a recent SS Steam Patch breaks the games manager function of SS.

You should just be able to drag and drop THB Protocol files in your SS directory on your Hard Drive. You shouldn't need to perform a fresh install of Soulstorm. You should NOT have to copy over or overwrite any files when moving the protocol into your SS folder.

Indeed- after leaving that comment I did just what you mentioned and it appears to function normally except it is of course missing that THB content (to be expected). Although I will say NOW I'm seeing when using the THB-New Races cmd file I receive the same screen as Daemonic_Renamon did on May 23 2015. Although without the Resolution/Scaling windowed mode issue.

So assuming that is the correct thing... well... that means...

I'M READY FOR THB!

Sorry for double posting. But upon further investigation it appears that the objective_points_SS.module was installed when using the UA_1.73.exe installer which I used to install that version to my SS folder. I do want to have the compatibility that you're speaking of in order to enjoy all the content made for both versions. Should I continue to use the one from the UA_1.73 installer? Or overwrite this with the smaller objective_points_SS.module from the idh_beta2_ss.rar folder?

Hi Everyone- Big fan! Been following this mod for a long time.

I know Mr. Cylarne that you've probably been slammed with questions and so on about how to do this- but I kinda want to show you and the community what I'm seeing when following your instructions and hopefully maybe clear up (at least for me) how to get prepared for THB!

First I've installed and extracted to my SS folder the initial folder structure. I DO at this time currently have 1.73.9 with Add-On V2 installed. (Not certain this matter but for the sake of troubleshooting)

I have been able to extract the deamons folder and deamons module to my SS folder without issues.

Where I am having issues is with installing the Inquisition. The issue appears to be a singular file in the idh_beta2_ss.rar folder. Specially the objective_points_SS.module file. The issue is that this file already exists in my SS folder, but a different size. Which leads to the issue of my game crashing to desktop when trying to load Play_Ultimate_Apocalypse_THB_New_Races cmd file.

So my question is this- assuming that we are to put ALL files directly into the SS folder without any movement of those files. Should I keep the objective_points_SS.module currently in the SS folder? Or replace is with the objective_points_SS.module in the idh_beta2_ss.rar folder?
