Yeah exactly, I also encountered myself with all those problems (noob modder).. But I wanted to come here anyway and plant a small idea, like in the movie inception haha

I once tried to min max these values, because I was inevitable gaining too much experience (I do take my time and do tons of secondary missions). had to disable experiece gain from mutants and lower level characters at the end.. Something I could never manage to do is to add more ranks..maybe that's something you can do?

From the description I take it that, what this addon does is to change all the nicknames of Stalkers for those that appear in the book series, for more realism.

I find the idea very good, even more, what can come from it. I'd really love to see one day a way in which a gun's texture could be changed as it's condition varies.
Not sure if's even possible with the game's engine, but if it is, this would be a nice help

That happens becuase you need to install LVunter's hotix.. It's stated in the instructions with a link to donwload..

"Apply realistic reflections+droplets hotfix (optional)(Fixed distortion and droplet bug and implemented LVutner's shader fix, If you dont want droplets then just remove textures folder in gamedata in this Hotfix):"
