Damn it, I was just installing this the other day. I didn't have the patch file yet. Anyone got it floating around out there? I understand they are eventually going to make a new version, maybe, with a bunch of stuff gutted out due to a problem with one of the people who worked on it having some unsavory habits. Frankly I'm not willing to loose the whole gd mod over this, and I'd rather not play it with a bunch of pieces cut out either.

Played this back when it was still early in development by the original author. Not sure if that's who put it here, but so happy to find this mod again. It had become more or less abandoned for a good while there, with the well working version lost. Don't know if the original author took it back up or another. But very happy to see it again. :)

Got a little question, after playing the mod for a while. On some of the techs, have noticed a certain sinister and powerful faction has hull desighns. Yet I've never seen them pop up as a minor race. Nor have I found a way to use the hull desighns for my own ships.

Are they going to be completed later? Perhaps even as a replacement for the Dread Lords?

Thanks a lot for your help superbob17. =) I've gotten to sit down, tinker with things. OOM is popping up occasinaly, but not enough to kill the fun. This is a beautiful, and enjoyable mod you chaps put together. Been using the slow exploration/expansion addon. It's great. A suggestion for folks playing with that one. Limit races with the creative trait. And don't take too much for yourself either. Becomes tremondusly broken with the such delightfully slow research.

My Feds are running around with solid early game ships. Maxed lasers/miniturazation, defenses and lots of toys. While the other races haven't even figured out how to put guns on their own yet. xD

Favorite moment to date. Was when a certain Colonel contacted me. It's made for a rich galaxy of SciFi cameos.

I've gotten the patch, and all the standard add ons except alternate tech tree. Getting slower expansion seemed like it would make things redundant. However, still haven't found a replacement for those two files. It shouldn't be hard to fix the music file myself. Once I learn which race it's attached to. However, I'm not really sure what to do about the corrupted .png file. I was hoping someone could point me to these two files. And suggest reuploading the source files to your download thingy.

I'm very intersted in trying out your mod. Have downloaded the 3 part genesis files. However, there seems to be a problem. Even after downloading a second time. Two files are corrupted. Event Music\Race06.mp3 and GFX\Models\Connie_Sec_Glow_L.PNG I've tried to get the patch from Rapidshare, hoping it might contain a fix. However, RapidShare is uncoperative at best. For two hours, it swears the server is overloaded, and wants me to purchase a membership. D:
