Hi there, I picked up XenoMiner in the current Indie Royale Birthday Bundle. In my Indie Royale collection page, I have a redemption code that I told can be activated by going to News > Content on the game's menu. However, when I do enter the code nothing seems to change and there is no dialog telling me whether the code was entered successfully or not. I would appreciate it if you could let me know what the code is meant to do. Thanks for your help!

Hi there, I don't know if you guys realize it but if you run the game while Valve's Steam client is running in the background then your game will trigger achievements for the 'Unreal Development Kit' for the account currently logged into Steam. ONE DAY doesn't even have to be launched through Steam, just launched from Desura as normal, and for some reason Steam gathers the achievements. I also had these Steam achievement pop-ups appearing in the bottom right of ONE DAY during play, as if the game was using Steamworks. You might want to take a look at that and try and remove this. Will try to provide screenshots of this happening if you like and ask for them. Cheers.

Hi Autotivity, I just bought the game but have found it to be completely unplayable on anything above 'Low' graphics setting (tried both with and without vsync and windowed).

I hear the sound and music from the game perfectly but when reaching the point where I am supposed to jump and move absolutely nothing renders. The whole game is black following very distorted visuals during the intro sequence.

I was wondering if you have any suggestions on how to fix the issue.

If it helps, I noticed that when I first start the game, the background render of some balls falling looks fine for a split second. Then the surface of the spheres starts to light up but the lighting effect seems to 'bleed' into everything else, eventually turning the entire thing white (as shown in the first screenshot in the above album).

Environment:

Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, Intel i5-3450 3.1Ghz, 8GB RAM, Radeon HD 7850 1GB with Catalyst 13.8 drivers, DX11. Running the game at 1920x1080 resolution.

Hey, I got the game this week and was having exactly the same problem on my 7850, so I contacted the developers for help. They hadn't seen the problem before but recommended rolling back my drivers - which works. I was using Catalyst 12.10 drivers but rolled back to 12.8 using Windows device manager and now all the flickering and distortion has gone completely. Give this a shot and good luck with trying.
