Any idea on how to make those sounds more common? I've noticed the character says those lines very rarely.

The problem is only with the Cracks and impacts, as the base.ltx is ****** up a lil bit.

I have the same problem and I just downloaded this mod for the first time.
My anomaly has the update 4 and the hotfix 8.
There is no grenade launcher section in base.ltx
