Most of everything wrong with the game I've been able to fix, with one exeption. My HUD and Menu are permanently massive if I ever load one of my saves from before that used Kenti's launcher. It doesn't change with any edit to the ini file, nor with any messing around with HUD settings in display. I was curious if you guys knew how to fix this?

It appears that most of my issues that were bugs, with the only possible exeption being the key, were caused by the launcher stuff. I've imported my saves and fixed a lot of it now. As for some augmentations not having proper descriptions, even that was fixed by the launcher.

Upon further inspection, it appears that the GMDX launcher didn't install properly upon first installation. This definitely caused issues. The New Game issue, the skyline issue, and potentially the sound issue. Thanks for the help with this thing. I'll see what else this may have fixed.

Thinking about it more, I think this message might've come off agressive, so I just want to clarify that I was just listing issues I encountered so that you can improve on this mod. So far I love this mod to pieces, and as such I want to see it become something goddamned brilliant and the best way to play Deus Ex. So far I'd say it's the best way to play the game, with a couple snags.

I found a key with no description in the commander's base and also in the menu at the beginning of the game, the difficulties are messed up. Very easy is easy, easy is medium, medium is hard, hard is previous menu, and hardcore is the same. FOV changes when you pull out a weapon. The Lighting in areas contrasts with the visibility of your character. I can't reset the secondary weapon button, in fact all reset to default buttons don't work. Half of the time I boot up the game the audio is ****** up and distorted. Damage for melee weapons doesn't seem to be calculated correctly: I have the Dragon's Tooth that deals 20 damage (x2) because of my skills and (x2) again because of my aug, but it seems to maybe only equate to x3 rather than x4 which is fine, however I couldn't break open some 60 strength locks. Some augments are upgradeable, but the game doesn't list what the upgrades do. Some of the feats need clearer text like the crowbar lock-picking one, it says less than 10, but that can lead to some confusion, but that's minor compared to the "<15 if its a wooden door" which seems to be a flat out lie. The New York skyline on Liberty Island, hell half of the backgrounds appear to be missing. (EDIT it appears that this is because I used a custom launcher, but that's because the custom launcher fixed some issues I had and made the experience much better, so I ask that you have some support for said launcher: Kentie's launcher). Some dialogue cuts off when you enter a menu which is highly inconvenient when sometimes dialogue shows up at a bad time and you need to get into the menu.

That's about it as far as bugs and issues go, but I have a personal request: could you make it so that if you pick up an extra aug canister for an aug you already have, it gives a single upgrade point for that aug rather than being useless? Because otherwise there's visible disappointment when you do something cool only to get a useless valuable collectible.
