ah just saw cylarnes comment on the hotfix's page. looks like the no-new-factions version 185.5 doesn't work.

same. i play thb without the new factions, 1.84 and 1.85 worked fine, but 1.85.5w/hotfix won't load. game ctds on start. i have a fresh install on my laptop, when i try to pick the module i get a popup saying it failed to load.

you want the basic version. it has native troop trees and if im not mistaken less new items.

Nicely polished and stable mod. Possibly the best looking mod for warband.
