I dont remember saying anything negative like "lazy" towards those who dont want to try Dwarf Fortress out because of its lack of a interface. When I first saw dwarf fortress it was overwhelming to attempt to learn how to play because of its lack of a interface.

I also wouldnt say the interface is broken, its very usable. It is on the other hand pretty ******, i agree with you there. It isnt elitist of me to say that people who see the interface would be afraid of it
though... because it is true! Its difficult and can seem overwhelming. I am also diffidently not saying this is the case for everyone, some people dont wish to go through that big of a learning curve in an attempt to learn to play a game. I am not going to say every single reason why people dont want to play an undeveloped game lacking a interface. Its just preference.

I do hope that Dwarf Fortress will have a interface similar to this one day, that will be sweet.

I have no issue what so ever playing dwarf fortress, but i guess i can understand it being difficult for people who are just afraid of interacting with a undeveloped interface that dwarf fortress has.

From what i understand the interface for dwarf fortress is going to be one of the last things that are going to be worked on.

Again, ill stick with dwarf fortress.

I would stick to Dwarf Fortress myself.

You have not played minecraft at all if you can say that minecraft does not have depth. A game doesnt need to be super complex to have a lot of depth too it.

Minecraft is awesome. Most of my friends stopped their majority of playing of games like World of Warcraft, ModernWarfare games, FallOut, Civ5 etc for Minecraft.
