Well, what can I say? I'm the great Jecht, I'm the best! There's no shame in losing to me.

The mod looks good, but I didn't get to explore it much. You see, my game keeps on closing or crashing when I get to any of the sea parts. Sailing, selecting options (dock, map, fight, realistic sailing mode, etc.), going to a different section of the ship... Everything just disappears and returns to my desktop. It did this before, so I thought the mod would fix it, but no, so I had to remove it. :/ Unfortunate.

This is an excellent mod, and I'm very glad I downloaded it, and very grateful for the help I was given in installing it. 0.96 will probably be even better, but for now this will keep me entertained. ^^

I did notice a glitch where in Skirmishes(1v1, 2v2, 2v1, etc.), the CPU controlled players would actually not bother building a base at all, and just stand there as if they were protesting war. Made things easier, certainly, just less tense. xD

Hey guys, I just wanna say that I eventually found the right folder. (It was the Zero Hours folder with MSS, Data, ect., but I had been trying to install it in the Generals folder).

I just wanna say thanks so much for all your help, you were really great. It's all up and running now, and I'm loving it. Thanks again!

(After my below post) I got this crash info:

"Release Crash at Sat Jun 26 01:20:06 2010
; Reason Error parsing INI file 'Data\INI\GameData.ini' (Line: 'GameData ')

Last error:

Okay, I installed the mod and the patch to that folder. Not to any of the folders in that folder, but just to that folder. So this time after it all installed, and I clicked launch it actually went to the first loading screen. But then this popped up:

"Technical Difficulties - You have encountered a serious error. Serious errors can be caused by many things including viruses, overheated hardware and hardware that does not meet the minimum specifications for the game. Please visit the forums at [generals website] for suggested courses of action or consult your manual for Technical Support contact information."

I'll restart my computer and try again, but I think we might as well just give up, this isn't going to work.

Alright, I found three different folders that I was gonna tell you about, but I don't think I need to because I looked through them and found the one with "Data, MSS, User Data". I only just now found them and haven't taken any action, but I'd like to know which exact part of this folder am I supposed to install the mod. Sorry for being so much hassle! ^^;
And also, will that folder be the same folder where the patch will be installed to?

@souske22 - When I was installing Shockwave 0.95 after a new download, the destination directory was set as:

C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour

So I changed it to:

C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer The First Decade\Command & Conquerâ„¢ Generals Zero Hour

Just like you said. A small window popped up saying "The destination directory doesn't exist. Do you want it to be created?" I clicked 'Yes' to see the effect it would have. It installed.....the launch window opened.....I clicked Launch...aaaaand....nothing happened. Hmm. :/ Went to the extracted folder "2007_12_22_sw95_beta" where 0.95 was downloaded, looked at the properties for the launcher, looked at location and it was different to what I changed the destination during installation. Could it be that I'm just not downloading the mod to the right place? It just goes to My Documents when I download it. Or should I just download the patch and try the same thing that I just did?

You guys are probably bored of hearing this same story, but I am one more person who can't get it to work. I've looked through the site as much as I can for answers but nothing seems to help. I have Command & Conquer The First Decade. I have Generals, and Generals:Zero Hour installed. I understand I don't need the Zero Hour 1.04 patch as TFD already has it. So I have downloaded Shockwave 0.95 for PC, and also the Shockwave 0.951 Patch for PC. No matter what though, It never gets past the first window containing the "Launch, Quickstart, Windowed, etc.." options. I click on Launch and nothing happens, it just stays the same. The only thing that I can think of that would be the problem is "Specifying the Location" of the installation. I don't know anything about this and I've found nothing that explains it. The manual was ******** as all the help it offered was "If you are unsure how to specify a different location ask someone who does know". I only recently found this mod, but I really wanna try it. Can SOMEONE please give me some guidance?
