Grapeshot in naval battles is hilariously overpowered right now and needs a serious nerf. There is no point in using any other ammo type as a single broadside can easily kill 25-50% crew of a similar sized ship.

For version 6.0, you need to download all parts (1,2, and 3). Then unzip all of them into a common folder. Run the installer (part one).

A campaign will be added in 6.1. As of now, if you want to play a campaign, revert to 5.1.

Only in 5.1 and below. The campaign will be re-added in patch 6.1.

You have to download all three parts of the installer.

I feel that high unit prices adds to the effect of the game. Due to the high prices, you care about preserving your units, and not just randomly sacrifice them in melee.

I haven't played imperial Splendour in a while, but isn't fire by rank still in game?
