There might be a bug in 10.1 with the The Hitman Impasse quest.

Steps:
- talk to Ji mei jin for 10%
- talk to lu fang for 20%
- persuade Ji mei jin

Now Lu Fang cannot be talked to. The dialog action does not appear, he is like any other NPC on the street.

On second try, i can talk to Lu Fang, but only for a moment, then dialog icon disappears. Seems like him talking is preventing the dialog.

Also once Lu Fang was not in the restaurant at all (checked with Auspex).

Just now i found out the game has to be started with the cmdline arguments from the shortcut. I started it directly with the exe at least once, that might be the culprit here :) Maybe you could put a warning at the last installer step?

Also it seems the save directory is being moved under UP dir after game closes, do you know if GOG save syncing works with that? Or should i leave it disabled?

All of this is on today's installs. I don't see a way i could do anything more compatible.
Is it possible that installing Plus patch with all the "No" options checked causes problems?

Okay i found aa change in the game after loading saves: The Mercurio money is no longer a pickable item, it is a container with the money inside. Did the patch revert for me?

After checking, the patch did not revert, since a clean UPv10 complains about map version being different.
I did have the Plus patch with all options disabled though, could that cause errors?

Okay i tested all my saves these are the results:
- ALL Beach House saves error with "areaportal > numareaportals", even if later saves from other areas work
- Pier save creates a giant TRIGGER wall, kills NPCs and removes area exits
- Santa Apartments save does not load Mercurio's couch under him
- Hub save does not load police cars, just their lights
So the solution is to never load a Beach or Pier save it seems.
Is that new in 10.1? Could anyone else test it?

Also after loading a previous save and going to the Bech house, i now have the option "LET ME IN" in red text with the guard guy, which i think i didn't have. I have 1 in intimidation, 4 in persuasion.

My saves from 10.1+ got corrupted today. One shows msgbox with "areaportal > numareaportals", the other loads me on the beach with giant orange TRIGGER wall and exits not working, NPCs not loading and journal telling me i killed E and failed Thin-born quest, which i didn't do.

I set GOG to NOT update the game, would you know what caused this and how to fix it? Gog does sync the saves to cloud, maybe that corrupted them?

Hi, does this patch balance the last two abilities of the wolf-pire?
Last time i played the wolf transformation was so slow it was a downgrade from the previous claw ability.
Don't remember which version of the patch i had though, was years ago.
