I entirely understand that it's supposed to be a quick-draw weapon. It's just that I think it might be better as a different key than the regular shotgun... I know that's classic Doom 2 style, but in Overthinked, you know how every millisecond counts.

Also, I'm excited about this overhaul. It sounds like it's going to be awesome. Sikkmod is fun as hell to play around with, and Denton's been great as well. I would say that Denton's Aim Down Sights system is more playable than Sikk's, so do keep Denton's. >.> I can't hit anything with Sikk's. XD

Anyway, I'm gonna go back to Overthinked and try to find the way around these trites. :D

I literally signed up for an account on moddb just to tell you: oh emm eff gee--this is the best. The reliance on ADS or laser sights, and even the flashlight serves as a tolerable aiming device in a pinch. The quick weapon switch system is a glorious touch. And I've always wanted to play a FPS where you lose whatever's in your magazine when you reload--because I am a compulsive reloader and I'm a masochist. So the mechanics of this mod are basically perfect.

I love being made to think tactically instead of just DooMing the hell out of everything. I've even started using grenades, when those Z-Secs decide to just hang out and lay down suppressing fire. This is something of a miracle, since I've never used grenades in Doom 3 before this day.

I'm encountering one minor inconvenience: the super shotgun sharing the same hotkey as the shotgun. I keep pulling out the wrong one at the wrong time. Consequently, this sometimes results in me poking the quickload button a couple thousand times until I get my fingers untangled. XP

This mod, though. Seriously, just joined up to tell you these things. Overthinked and I are getting married.
