I'm curious if there is a way to play claire A on hard difficulty.

This is a praise comment just to say this mod has been the best mod I've played so far for both RE2 and RE3. It has revitalized my love for re3 classic, I've put 25+ hours in so far, first playing the easy mode then finishing it 3 times on normal. Props to Komizo, where's the donate button!
Also shout out to Bawkbasoup for making the mod popular.

You get New Game+ after beating the game while killing the Nemmy 6 times and choosing the option where you shoot the nuke at the end of the game.
Just tried itsmeschhwifty's method and it does work. Before fighting Nicholai's chopper just head to the altar room and interact with the flame.

Side by side same direction = Turn the dog statue same direction as the owner's grave.
Back to back, face to face, opposite direction.
And I never understood right to left left to right so I always do that one last until it unlocks.

You have to finish the game on Normal difficulty, kill the nemesis 6 times on that run and it's only unlocked in New game+
Maybe you don't need to kill Nemmy 6 times but thats how I did it.
Edit: Easiest way to do it is avoid the first nemmy and kill all the other encounters, if you kill him in the first RPD encounter he gets a rocket launcher in the alleyway after using the firehose and it just makes cheesing him a lot more difficult.
