Hello there. I think you may have the wrong mod. For starters, I don't have a tip #194, and what you have written there is not among my content. Also, I did not plagiarize any material, nor have I read your book. I know there are some other mods that change the loadscreen tips - maybe you meant one of them?

This sounds like the ui_item file has been overwritten. If you're using wuut's Magazines, make sure to overwrite ui_item with the file in the compatibility patch.

Nothing in there seems like an obvious problem, but I can't be sure. What does your error message say? If we can find the file that causes the problem, it will be easier to identify the issue.

Hi there! I really don't think that this mod would be causing that crash because the text related to using the vice is located in a different file that this doesn't touch. Do you have any mods installed that change crafting or anything like that?

Hi there, and thanks for your interest! Fortunately, I have included a compatibility patch for the Anomaly Magazines mod in the download. Just write over the the mod's original script file with the compatibility file. I don't use Anomaly Magazines myself, but it should be good to go.

I have been getting some requests, so I will consider it. Because they would (I assume) still use nicknames like regular stalkers, I would have to decide if I'm just changing the first part of the name into a more western type or if I'm messing with the whole thing. It's not as straightforward as the UNISG names because they use proper ranks and surnames.

I really appreciate the kind words about the mod.

As to your first concern, I looked into my files and I can find no mistakes that would bring that about; it seems that everything I added was in line with the messages that are already there. If I were to guess, I think it would have something to do with the scripting (liking referencing a stalker that no longer exists etc.), which is a little bit above my level of knowledge. I have gotten errors in vanilla Anomaly when the name of an item looted will appear as "nil" in the news messages, so I'm wondering if it's something similar. If this keeps happening, then let me know and I'll look into more deeply.

And, always happy to fix grammar mistakes (there's some fixes when the new version comes out). Thanks!

Hi there, thanks for the comment. If I understand you correctly, then you seem to be looking for a new dialogue selection option when you talk to an NPC. All of the NPC dialogue lines I wrote are all in the same place: "What's new in the Zone?" etc. The faction dialogue is added to the pool of available dialogues that could be selected. So for instance, if you talk to a Merc, you might get a generic line or you might get a line specific to Mercs that also depends on your own faction. There exists, for example, lines that only have a chance of coming up when you are a Merc and you talk to a fellow Merc. What I'm trying to say is that it's all there and if you just ask around you'll come across a whole lot of new stuff.

Well that's strange. That's only called when stalkers buy from the traders, and I've tested for that. Make sure that you have the latest files and that nothing is overwriting ui_item.script. Tell me if you get it again.

If you want to use it with RC18, simply delete the scripts folder from the download. You won't get the grammar fixes, but everything else is ok.

Any new squads that spawn in will use the new naming system but the existing ones will not be changed. So a new game isn't necessary, but you will get new names faster.
