I've decided to let this scene pack drop out ouf support and merge some of the remaining scenes with the main mod.
Files will still be accessible for those who know how to use them.

To people wondering about updates: I update this pack whenever a new TLD Steam update makes the scene pack incompatible (by changing scene related files).
If I don't update the submod, chances are it's still compatible.
Thanks for the reply, Kael, I appreciate it! Also thanks for pointing me to the Dol Amroth pic, I hadn't looked that far back. I think the comment you reacted to also shows that there's no harm in being actively transparent and preventing misunderstandings. So yeah, thanks for taking my qualms seriously, and good luck with your mod and hopefully sorting out these server issues!
The majority of the city scenes that you show in screenshots (just from the latest few: Dol Guldur, Caras Galadhon, Khand Camp, Erebor) were made by me, for TLD. They're open source, of course, so you're allowed to use them without asking. But it'd still be nice if you gave credit when posting pictures, since in most of them, the scenes seem to be the main thing you want to show.
Good luck, Antonis!
If you need anything from TLD, or any scening advice, make sure to hit me up!
Savegame compatibility can only be ensured for relatively recent versions, though. If you upgrade from an unpatched 3.5 to 3.6, this will 100% break your save. If you upgrade from a recent 3.5 nightly patch (not more than 6 months old), you should be fine.
Please visit our discord or our Steam forum for support.
If you're on Mac, follow the Mac install guide on our Steam forum.
Sorry, above is me.
Latest patch is enough.
Everything you need is here: Steamcommunity.com
Remember to patch your game if you downloaded from Moddb.
Don't continue your ancient save on a new nightly. Roll back and finish your game or start a new game on a patched game.
TLD for WB is more stable, prettier, and has more features. There's no reason not to play on WB.
You need to make your M&B exe large adress aware (LAA, google it).
Even better: Get Warband. TLD for M&B is no longer being actively developed.
Edit: Also, if you started your old save on the unpatched TLD 3.5 from here, I do not recommend patching the save. We cannot ensure savegame compatibility over such a long time.
If the error message reports a missing shader, you probably installed a WB nightly patch over your M&B version. Apart from the fact that TLD for M&B is no longer supported and it's advisable to play TLD for Warband instead, I would suggest you try to reinstall, watching carefully you fetch the right versions.
If the problem still persists, please visit our discord server. We don't really have the resources to grant support here on moddb.
Oh well, I fixed it. Will be in one of the next few nightly patches.
If you want to fix it yourself, you can adjust the spec map for these armours (costumes_arnor_s.dds). I will do it eventually.
We're aware of such a bug in the MnB version, so I guess you're playing that one? Or did you experience it in WB?
I'm sorry we didn't prioritize it yet. But you gave us a good hint at where to look, thanks!

Hello there!
I appreciate that you're giving credit to the mods you've been using as a source. Please don't forget to also give proper credit to TLD. :)
Good original designs, nice M&B implementation!
Right :)
Atm, there's a lot of WIP stuff going on in the nightly builds, so apply at your own risk. If you wanna go safe, choose a build that's concurrent to the latest steam build (Sept 15).
No, not gonna happen. It's explained in the FAQ.
As if there weren't, on this page, no less than five links leading to the patches.
Thanks! I had a ****** day and reading that just made it a bit better. :)
Also cudos for spotting the stairs.
Read the file description.
If you want to stay up-to-date automatically, I recomend using the Steam workshop version.
Thanks!
I assume you're the person from the TW thread, so you'd know, but for any passers-by: This pack's Minas Morgul has already been included in vanilla TLD.
Sure!
Scenes: Without that update, the submod will have some bugs in scenes, like floating or buried buildings. I hope to release the update next week, but I guess you could also fix it yourself .It's mainly about updating terrain codes, compare beorn's house (scn_woodmen_village2 or so) and orc patrol camp (scn_cirith_ungol, for some reason).
Items: Just have a look at the beginning of module_troops. You'll see a bunch of definitions like: itm_whiterobe = (itm_rohan_armor_th, imod_bent). If you look up these items in module_items, you'll notice that we grouped several items together via item modifiers. This allows us to include a greater variety of models and/or free some item slots that we can use for other things.
I don't know which items or troops you have changed in v1.5, so maybe this doesn't even affect your mod, but I thought I'd mention this to avoid confusion.
Nice! Good to know you're keeping your mod up-to-date! :)
FYI, we did a lot of reorganizing in the item and troops file, in order to free up some item slots within the factionized item range. We tried to comment on this extensively, but feel free to ask us if anything seems strange to you.
Also, since I've started updating scenes, again, I'll need to update my submod, too, hopefully soon. So I'd suggest you wait for that update.
Doesn't TLD Overhaul already include my scenes?
If not, check out the installation instructions. But I can't guarantee that it works.
I've been updating scenes for TLD for the last couple of months. Just check out most of the evil camps.
