I downloaded the mod but I'm not sure how it works. do people usually just hop on and play on the weekend or is it more strict rp where you need to sign up or something?

I loved the first EB mod for Rome. I just downloaded this (2.3) and followed instructions well I believe. But I'm unclear on one thing.

Are you referring to a 4gb patch that you put on the exe? I know you said to research but I didn't find what you were talking about and was confused.
Other than using mostly one cpu core (was hoping the 3rd part program would fix.) and one crash I look forward to playing. Sorry for the inconvenience.
