The mod currently only changes space combat. There's a channel on the discord for ground overhaul discussions, my speculation is that ground changes will be in the works at some point

To add on this if there's stuff you don't like about the mod just change it yourself. Granted you don't upload the changes as your own mod. Personally I changed a lot in my version and it's a pretty straightforward process. Instead of complaining and adding toxicity to the comment section, learn something new and mod the game yourself.

The installation process is different on steam workshop and from moddb and people are having a tough enough time getting it to work on moddb so he just restricted it to moddb only now. If you have the steam version of the game you can still install it from moddb. I'm sure there's a YouTube video on how to do it.

fun fact you can re-enable the vanilla one by editing an xml file called spaceunitssuper. and changing the death star tech level from 99 to 5. However, the game crashes whenever the ai builds it.

probably because it didn't really work when it was on the workshop, and people were mobbing the workshop page asking for solutions to the same issues. Honestly its just easier to get it working from the Moddb download

yes, just the installation is a bit different from the steam or GOG versions. There tutorials on youtube. Installation is for EAW/FOC is pretty standard across all mods. here's a youtube: Youtube.com
