Maya

So I am attending a school where i will be receiving the Maya, ZBrush, and a bunch of other apps. I do not know when I will be getting them, so my 30 day trial ran out on Maya. I'm trying to get a hold of my school to see when exactly i'll be getting these fine applications to see if I should go for another 30 day trial, the 6 month trial, or wait till they come.

This is why you haven't seen any updates on the Tommy Gun yet. I am truly sorry; I will be finished soon, then onto the Colt. Another downer right now but in this situation might not be too big a deal; my moms boyfriend had to send his Thompson back to the shop AGAIN, to fixed the bolt. It wasn't hardened right and it's useless. He did however, say that it would be back most likely by Friday, which, like I said is good news.

The reason I tell you this is that is the gun I'll be getting the minute details from and it would be good to be back in the home possession. All in all, just waiting for stuff to follow through. Won't be much longer folks before you guys will be checking out the fancy new models from us.

Ranting Vol. 1

So, I am a modeler and not a very good one, but I can model stuff that looks good. I'm no pro that's for sure. There's one thing that's always bothered me when it comes to this though. People that criticize in very negatively ways.

On here, on professional forums, and so on; people sitting on their computers just constantly go to sites to piss all over maps, or mods, or models, or anything for that matter. I just want people to stop because it's assanine and it's not needed.

One main example is I made a quicky pistol for The Family for out ALPHA 0.0.1, and people still think it's shitty and say so. Now this doesn't make me upset as it's for Alpha 0.0.1; it's the fact that people will do this no matter the alpha or beta or even final project status.

Two things!
1) Don't do that unless you have the skill that can surpass this in the given amount of time.
2) Don't do that at all and if you DO have the skills, help the person don't make them feel self conscious. Just because people might have done it to you when you were a fetus modeler doesn't mean you keep going that way.

Ok that's it for my ranting. I just wanted to get this off my chest here rather than in comment.
