Easily replaces Brytenwalda as my favorite M&B mod. I played Rennaisance and remember defending a castle agaisnt the HRE and thinking how this mod would be so much better in an ancient setting. I also remember that i was excited for you to make the Sparta mod but honestly i forgot about it.

I played for a year or 2, in-game time. There is a lack of diversity with weapons, and the villages only have 1 cattle each. There is also a village where many buildings and objects are floating. The huge battles are awesome. Fighting as a Spartan hoplite in a 3-4 hundred man battle is quite fun. The armors are expensive, it keeps the game difficult, always going broke even if you've set up 20 dyeworks you'll end up going broke every week. Its a challenging and fun mod.

Also i want the chests in the lord's hall back. i used to stash things in them in Renaissance.

I have Played this wonderful mod years ago and am filled with joy to see it prosper. so many great mechanics but the prestige or class system isn't too important so like, what's the deal? Being a medieval peasant is tough and being a peasant nobody and six moths later a famous noble warlord is unlikely. Anyway, i am being to critical. This mod is amazing all around and religion is perfectly pulled off. i am VERY disappointed that the pseudo-byzantine / Calradian Empire is not Orthodox, i mean.. That was the Byzantines whole thing, like if you want to pull off a 1424 feel to a history nerd like me at least make Orthodox a thing and maybe tension between rest of christian world. Thanks for all the great work but even the best of modders need some criticism. I could not bring myself to give this a 9 because it is simply just too good. everything is great just everything. i played the old version and just downloaded the newest one and havent even played it but my experiance with the old version was amazing it must be the best mod the Mount and Blade community has made yet. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT WORK!!!
